After evening of brewery hopping and finishing around 11pm, we hit Gyro Heaven and got three lamb gyros to bring back to the house. Fantastic way to finish the evening. Great service, sauce and salad on the pita was good and sloppy. Pretty much the real deal having been to Greece and other parts of the med. Crowd was gathering and line forming. Great job by the owner and his son. Hit the spot and calmed the stomach beasts for the night. Thanks !!

If you are looking for something that will satisfy you, don’t look here. Run here. This gyro is one of the top tier places I’ve encountered while in Charleston.

Long time HUGE fan of this cart, and have always loved making the walk to get their food past many others, but tonight one of the pieces of chicken that I ate toward the very end of my plate was BAD… like rotten bad. It wasn’t undercooked or chewy, it was like absolutely foul tasting, and tasted as if it was two week old garbage. Really concerned of the quality or sanitation as to how I got a piece of meat like this. It tasted like it needed to be thrown out many weeks ago… I’ve never tasted a piece of meat so rotten. Immediately threw up.

Wow! This is the hidden food gem in Charleston! We went here on NYE based on their 5 star rating and let me say, it did not disappoint. If you like Greek food, this is a don’t miss. It’s a small food cart run by a father and son where they set up on weekends nights (double check hours before you go). Both gentlemen could not have been more friendly and kind. We ordered the lamb gyro, gyro plate and a burger. Everything was absolutely heavenly! Best gyro we have ever had (and we have had a lot of them). Their gyro plate was also extremely good- would order both again in a heartbeat! The burger was also very tasty if you do not like Greek food (but even if you think you don’t, this place would convert you). The only downside is we were only able to visit this place once.. I can’t wait until our next trip to go back. Do yourself a favor and go to Gryo Heaven- you won’t be disappointed!

I have driven by this place at *least* 100 times. No exaggeration. I am a Lyft driver for Charleston and I constantly pass this place. I never had the time or chance to stop until tonight.Let me tell you, the wonderful scent of the food prepared on the grill infront of you can be smelled even as I stepped out of the car across the street walking over. It is so warm and inviting, defiantly had my mouth watering.I ordered a chicken gyro. Simple, delicious, what could go wrong? Let me tell you...NOTHING! The chicken was seasoned so well! Very soft, juicy, and practly melted in your mouth. The sauce, I feel like is hand crafted. Im not sure if it is, I didn't get to ask...but HOLY COW! It was so savory and there was the perfect amount on this thing. The Greek pita bread was the perfect thickness and very soft! Everything about this gyro was HEAVENLY! Pun definitely intended! The gyro alone was 9.99, and worth every cent. I've gotten gyros for the same price or less and they always dissipointed. It was a lot of everything for the price you pay. 110% worth it.My ONLY regret is taking so long to come, and that I didn't get a picture of my food to share with you all! I cannot wait to go back, and now I know why everyone raves about this place!!

Vegetarian options: This specific location does have a veggie sandwhich

Parking: Sometimes there is street side parking, and sometimes to cab pull into the lot with the food stand. Be careful of pedestrians and people waiting for food! It can get crowded on the lot itself.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's in a corner lot ofSpring street and Coming street. It's easily accessed for anyone.
