Their lunch menu is one sandwich (with meat) and four cold salads (2 of which are vegan). You can get a combo of two which is what I did. The quinoa was amazing, the black bean salad was just ok in my opinion. The ciabatta (which staff confirmed was vegan) was to DIE for. Great value and AC right off king st

The coffees were excellent. The breakfast was even better. The quiche was so good and stuffed full of flavor and veggies. The breakfast sandwich was awesome. And the “Great Dane” pastry we had was unreal. The atmosphere is a bit hectic with seating being first come first serve after a counter service. It was BUSY so be prepared to wait outside in line on a weekend.

Kate was absolutely wonderful—her kindness made my visit extra special! This spot truly has the best coffee and atmosphere in all of Charleston. The homemade house syrups add a unique touch, and every treat I tried was delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough—if you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming café experience, this is the place to be!

This is the best coffee… and pastry shop… i have ever been to. It is a challenge to find something that isn’t good on the menu. The Latte’s and espresso are absolutely perfect and the scones/matcha green tea cake/spinach roll etc are literally perfect.

I am not exaggerating here… Harken will be catering my wedding or any event.

Third times a charm for us- the his is the third coffee shop we’ve been to this morning in search of a decent cup of coffee and we hit the jackpot here. The rustic vibes are awesome, the pastries are phenomenal and the cappuccino was excellent.

Extremely cozy place with a friendly staff. The grain and vegetables bowl was fresh and delicious.

Highly recommended it.

I came here on a Saturday, hoping to get a salad and checking if they had any vegan sandwiches as well. However, they do not serve lunch on weekends. Instead, they serve breakfast all day. The only vegan item on the menu was the overpriced avocado toast, which they took 15-20 minutes to make. It was good, but super simple. Also, the cashier seemed clueless about veganism. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Cozy coffeeshop with homey ambiance inside as well as a cute little patio outside. Great dessert selection to go with some afternoon coffee.

Service and atmosphere is amazing, the pastries and coffee are always solid, the food can be hit or miss as its a bit on the sweet side sometimes could use spice or salt , and the quiche texturally has been a bit strange from time to time with the occasional charred cheese on top but never terrible.

Long line out the door. For a good reason. Great coffee. Good food. Nice atmosphere. We got a spiced vanilla latte and an iced Mocha. Also tried their Butter Me Up biscuit, German Chocolate Bun, and Jam & Brie biscuit. Bought a bag of coffee beans too. Can't wait to try them.
