We visited High Wire Distilling on Monday evening when we were in Charleston for a few days. Whiskey made with red corn sounded intriguing, so we came in to try some of their spirits. The staff was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about all their whiskies. We got two flights and tasted 6-8 different spirits. James Beard Award drew me to this place. And they had it right. Absolutely loved the bourbon. The place, the distillery is impeccable. We went just before evening and were serviced by two lady bartenders who were very knowledgeable, kind and got their recommendations absolutely spot on 💯We tried the flights and then a boulvadier- loved the detail that for the cocktails most of the ingredients they try to get the best ones and sometimes end up making themselves.
