After a delicious lunch we decided to go to the General Store and pick up some Bourbon Glaze - YUM! We also tried the salt scrubs and ended up purchasing 5!

I was excited about getting back to Florida after visiting the store and purchasing salt scrub. I got home and the scrub smelled nor had the same affect as the scrub I/we used in the store to wash our hands. My friends who purchased a bottle on the same day had the same reaction….very disappointed!

Great customer service ! My favorite restaurant in charlesotn and the owners are amazing!!! This time the waitress said they stopped serving the okra which was one of my favs well the owners son victor said we keep it for sometimes and so he made me a plate complimentary and was so nice!!! Love hymans and how it is family oriented!

Shrimp had odd taste. Mushy. Ate 2, left the rest. My order of She Crab soup never arrived. I had a 4oz cup of slaw and small cup of collards. Waitperson never offered to make it right or deduct uneaten food.
Highly disappointed.
$40 down the drain.
The service and food was very good, interesting seeing what famous people have eaten here. Also has a gift shop heading out. Would love to come back again

I originally went into Hyman’s General Store to use the restroom. However, once inside and after speaking to the store manager, Evan. I hung around a bit. Evan was such a breathe of fresh air! He has an infectious personality and smile. The scents/scrubs I purchased were Cedar Wood, White Ginger and Amber, & Hugo Boss Night. A friend of mine got scrubs too, I just don’t remember the names. Evan is amazing at his job, he showed me scents/scrubs and he was spot on with the selections and what I liked. It was pretty magical lol! Mya checked me out at the register and she was absolutely lovely! I went to the store back in February so my review is a little late. But, go inside! Smell some scents! Use these products! The results of these scrubs are lasting, leaves you feeling smooth, the oil from the scrub leaves your skin hydrated, the salt isn’t harsh, and of course the smell! It’s greatness! Totally worth it! Thanks again Evan and Mya! Stay you! You’re both amazing!
