I was blown away by Krystyna's food at the joint base this week! The gołąbki was a total game-changer. I was checking out the menu and the gentleman mentioned that it's one of his top picks. Now, it's definitely one of mine too! Thank you

Amazing! Found Krystyna's Polish food at Blue Ridge Rock Fest 2022. Their periogi was so good! It was a cold, rainy day and their food warmed the soul. The people that were working the tent/truck were super friendly too. I've been hoping to find these guys at another show/venue in my area but the stars haven't aligned yet. If I do, you can bet I will 100% be eating there. I only reason for 4 stars is they had typical food truck/concert venue prices which tend to be high. Otherwise I fully encourage you to find them if you are in their area.

This is full on legit Polish food. Reminds me of the pierogi we use to get from the Polish home when I was a kid. I don't know if they make them or get them from someplace, but they are spot on! To begin with, they put the correct cheese in the potato and cheese pierogi. Usually, you get cheddar when they mix them. That's not right. They use the correct ricotta (or cottage - I am not a cook but you get the idea). Then, they cook them correctly. Boil? No, there is no flavor there. Deep fry? Tastes like the oil, they are super greasy, and you cut your mouth on the shell. No, they quick fry them. And they have onion and sour cream as toppings if you want. This is not the first time I have enjoyed their food and I am hoping it will not be near my last. Now I am not a huge guy, but I can regularly eat a dozen Costco pierogi or Celentano ravioli for a meal. I don't think I could do 12 of these. They are really stuffed (see picture). An order from Krystyna's is 6 for $9 ($10 including tax). Now you might say "$1.5 per unit is a little steep, isn't it?" Initially that is what I thought too but keep in mind $10 is out the door. When you compare that to what your alternatives might be, it really isn't bad. A burger at 5 Guys is $10.58 then a large fry is $7.42, or $18 before tax. An order of fish & chips at The CodFather is $14.25 before tax. A burger at Bohemian Bull runs $10-$17 and then another $5 for fries. So $20 for a full dozen of real-deal (not Mrs. Ts from the frozen section) pierogi is not a bad deal. Oh, and it is a food truck, so they came to me. I got all this greatness and all I had to do was walk out the front door of my office. Well done guys!

Great Polish Food. So enjoyed at Overture 12/523. The kielbasa and desert poppyseed cake - awesome. Great Chicago style Polish.

Best food!

Phenomenal food from awesome people! The guys running it were super cool and hooked me up. He recommended the Reuben which was an interesting take on a classic (kielbasa instead of corned beef, polish style) but still very delicious. But the star of the show for me was the Golabki. It’s a family recipe and I just know that family crushes these things. Man was it good! Definitely will be frequenting this food truck

My first time trying Polish food and Krystyna's Food Truck was at Charleston Beer Fest. I tried the pierogis ($9.01), which they let you mix and match, so we got three potato and cheese pierogis and three sauerkraut and mushroom pierogis. I've only had frozen pierogis and my husband never had them before, so this was a new dish for us. I really appreciated having two vegetarian pierogi options, as Polish food is typically meat-heavy. The sauerkraut and mushroom pierogis were flavorful and my favorite of the two. I also tried the cucumber salad, which was light and refreshing, as it is cucumbers marinated in a yogurt sauce (not a typical greens/lettuce salad). Both the pierogis and cucumber salad were perfect for soaking up the booze at Charleston Beer Fest. The only downside is that they call your name when the food is ready, and I wish they used a beeper system, especially at festivals so folks don't feel like they have to stand beside the truck. We saw that Krystyna's is opening a deli soon, and I'm happy that it's in West Ashley since businesses seem to skip us lately and open in Nexton or North Mount Pleasant. I can't wait to try the deli and would also recommend and dine at the food truck again too.

Authentic, tasty, and reasonably priced! I tried the potato-cheese pierogi and gołąbki (ground meat and rice wrapped and baked in cabbage) so far and would like to try more.

The pierogis are phenomenal. I especially like the cheddar ones. They're just as good as the pierogis I ate when I visited Krakow.

Polish food in Charleston? Yes, and really good one. And trust me, I'm Polish.

Get the Golabki and thank me later!I truly get so excited every time I see the Krystyna's Food Truck. Not only is Victor, the owner, the best; his food is fantastic as well. We are fans of the traditional cheese Pierogi and Polish Sausage dishes but the Golabki is a must. It is comfort food at its finest. Food is always fresh and served quickly as well!

Very delicious reuben.

I had the hot dog and Pierogi’s. The Potato and Cheese Pierogi’s were good and hot dog was…. just a hot dog. Took a little long for the food to be made despite no one being in line. You can take my four stars though.
