First time eating here yesterday and it was delicious. Love the atmosphere and very friendly staff. Great addition to Charleston and I will definitely be back.
I live around the corner and was excited to see what Lillian’s was all about. My sister and I and a couple friends walked over yesterday arriving at 5:45 to have a drink at the bar. We were directed upstairs. The bar was full (no seats available). No one else in the place and all tables empty. A very nice woman working upstairs told us we could stand around the bar but there really wasn’t room for that. Lillian’s Petite Market & Eatery is a great neighborhood spot in Charleston, described as cute and friendly. It is a favorite for brunch, lunch, and dinner. The food is delicious and made to order with local ingredients. Specific dishes praised include the hand cut pasta with roasted vegetables, the BEC sandwich, the grilled breakfast wrap, the breakfast Crunchwrap, a fantastic soup and grilled cheese, and a fried chicken sandwich called the best in Charleston. The restaurant also offers catering, which is very well prepared, packaged, and portioned. It is located on Congress Street in the old Harold’s Cabin space and is highly recommended for a visit.
