I had the unfortunate experience of visiting this establishment and was thoroughly disappointed. The hosts and wait staff were incredibly rude and inconsiderate. Despite the place being empty, they insisted on seating us outside in scorching 90° weather without any regard for our comfort and were less than helpful when we asked for a patio umbrella to be opened for shade. A member from our party also walked up to the host stand to ask to move just to overhear them talking about our “unreasonable” request to sit at a table in the shade. We had planned on eating here but could not bear the lack of hospitality and dirty looks. Needless to say, I won't be returning anytime soon and wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Despite the promising atmosphere, the wait staff's unprofessional behavior left a sour taste. It's disappointing that they openly rolled their eyes and spoke negatively about us, creating a hostile environment. Additionally, being seated outside in scorching weather without a working umbrella, while the inside remained vacant & complaining when we asked if we could open the umbrella, reflects a lack of consideration for customer comfort. Such disregard for customer satisfaction detracts from the overall dining experience; so we decided to leave after drinks.

Fantastic, no stress pub with mildly "upscale" menu selections that don't push the casual vibe. Everyone in our party had a well crafted drink from the bar and enjoyed their meal. Definitely visit again.

Fish and chips were by far the best we had in Charleston. The BLT had the thickest cuts of bacon I’ve ever seen. Upscale bar food with a stunning ambiance. Get the cheesecake! Wow!

Food was just OK, but really expensive. Burgers are 16 dollars and really small. Grouper fritters are 9 dollars for 3 dough balls that were not very good at all. Save your money and find a better spot that is not as over priced.Service was good, just way too expensive for quality and quantity of food.Parking: Very limited

Small mediocre menu. Not the best service, didn't even ask to split checks. I review very fairly and honestly. There are 1000 restaurants on Charleston and this place does nothing to differentiate or last. It's on North King and should treat locals good. I have celiac and got the burger just served with lettuce instead of a bun. They freaking charged an extra $0.50 for lettuce..... Which normally came with burger, I just didn't get the bun. This place is a joke. Literally go to one of the 1000 other places not worth the location/price or service.

This was my first time eating at Little Jack’s and I absolutely loved it. If you’re a burger lover, I HIGHLY recommend ordering their tavern burger. Trust me, you will not be disappointed! The drinks are also really nice as well!

First time at this restaurant. I was here evaluating it to possibly manage this place. I did send a review to Adam the GM of my review and of course he didnt like it. I had a veggie burger with fries. The fries where soggy and greasy. The veggie burger fell apart as I ate several times which really wasn't visually appitising. The GM didn't bother to talk to anyone in the restaurant which I was sitting at the bar with him. The water smelled and was luke warm. I wasn't given a two bite check on my food order nor was I offered another beer. I do see two owners are named for this one of three places in Charleston but with this poor evaluation seems these owners love to lose money and not make it.

Food takes forever to get out. Ordered veggie appetizer and it took half an hour. Wasn’t worth it too.

Little Jack's Tavern is truly a gem. The staff was so lovely and the atmosphere was perfect. While I thoroughly enjoyed my black bean burger, I couldn’t help but feel a little jealous of the religious experience my boyfriend was having with his double tavern burger across from me. Do yourself a favor and visit this place… and order a margarita while you’re at it.

Bar experience. Great food . Friendly staff. Fair prices. Was a nice walk from our comfort suites room. BLT with slab bacon which was way too much for my wife. My burger was perfect with plenty of fries.

I was working in Charleston last month during the week of Valentines Day. On Tuesday after I was done with everything at customer sites I went back to Greenville and got my wife and brought her back down so we could still be together for Valentines Day. The plan was she could be at the hotel while I worked but we would at least have the afternoons and evenings for the remainder of the week. Another coworker was also in Charleston and texted me that he had some of the best Fish & Chips & grouper bites ever. I had another place in mind for Valentines Dinner but my wife and I were close by so we changed up. Well, the Grouper Bites were really good. My Fish & Chips was great but I thought the piece was small (I sent the pic to my coworker and he felt bad after the hype, said his covered more of the plate). It was Haddock and it was really tasteful. I travel a lot and grab Fish & Chips every now & then, this was the first place to serve the mashed peas, I am not a fan but that is me, maybe you like them, if so, provecho. Now for the Double Tavern burger that my wife got, although it was a winner of the 2017 Burger Bash it is now 2024 and the burger she got was not "the best I ever had" as asked by our server. It was two 1/4 oz patties of quality meat, but it was very salty. I expected more from a $21 burger. All in all it was a nice place to go. I get it, the economy yada yada yada but I thought it was a tad pricey. A different place the next day for the same amount of money, twice the food and took some home in a to-go box
