Hidden gem in Charleston. Food was outstanding. Everything was well seasoned and the biscuits were the best! I prefer a drop biscuit but this definitely had me thinking otherwise. There are a few seats inside at the bar, but we sat outside on the patio.

I love you Little Line!!! What a fabulous spot for brunch. Pictured is their Salted Caramel latte, Coffee, Grit Bowl, and (vegetarian) Chicken & Bicsuits. Total for eveything was $51! I will be back!!

The food here was delicious! We especially loved the chicken and biscuits, and also enjoyed the cajun chicken and pecan chicken salad with pasta salad. Keep in mind, there is only a small amount of indoor seating and it is all bar style. For additional seating, you will need to sit outdoors- which can be warm and a bit less comfortable.

We are staying in Charleston this weekend. Stopped in today for brunch. The food was delicious but the experience was phenomenal. The staff were pleasant, personable and helpful. They took time to share the best places to explore while we munched.

Didn’t stay. Creepy vibe given off by patrons. One customer wouldn’t stop glaring, even as he was canoodling with his partner. The other customer had a dog with her who kept trying to jump up on us. She never intervened. We waited 5-7 minutes for someone to help us. As we were leaving, a woman came out to take our order. When we shared our appreciation that she was there because we were ready to leave, she rudely rolled her eyes, pursed her lips, and made weird hand gestures. Clearly everyone was in contempt of our presence. Had the server been welcoming we would have stayed, but there was no way we were going to give someone who was that rude to us our business. Based on the reviews, it was probably a bad day. Maybe it was we were in athletic wear and didn’t fit the culture. Either way, we went down the road and had a great meal somewhere else.

Ok, I was going to hold off from leaving a review because I didn't end up eating here. But the reason why I didn't eat here was bad enough that I felt the need to say something.
I was visiting Charleston and took a cab here to have breakfast. As soon as I walked in, the place smelled VERY strongly of cats (not cat urine, just, like, lots of cats being around for a long time and leaving their scent) or other pets/animals. I immediately walked out after stepping in because the smell was overwhelming.
Clearly, some other diners weren't bothered by this (or maybe they don't care as much, or maybe they *were* bothered but didn't care because there's an outdoor dining area), but I wasn't comfortable eating in a place that smelled so strongly of animals. It didn't appear dirty, but the smell was intense. I'm not pregnant or anything, it is just very noticeable.
I was upset because the food looked great and I had paid to travel quite a way to it. I ended up walking to another side of town instead of eating here.

Little Line is a magical place. The food is fantastic, the staff are always welcoming and warm, the owners are salt-of-the-earth level kind & community-focused, and THE FRIDAY NIGHT SUPPER CLUB IS LIFE-CHANGING for busy families. To know that I can book a fun Friday night and easily pick up a whole meal to feed kids & sitter/grandma is an immeasurable convenience and a sweet thank you to grandma as a sitter. Breakfast is a crowd-pleaser, too, with a parfait for me and BECs for the fam. Every neighborhood should have a sweet spot like this to meet friends for a coffee (and great tea selection!) in the am or wine happy hour all in the same spot. Thanks, Little Line!
