We booked this as our first Michelin Star experience for our anniversary. It surpassed all our other top favorite dining experiences. They were super kind in accommodations for our allergies. The flavors of each dish were outstanding! Thank you chef for offering this experience in Charleston. The staff and atmosphere were amazing.
My wife and I decided to bring my mom for her 70th birthday. Malagon has long been one of our favorite Charleston restaurants but it’s been a few years since we’ve been back, and we will be adding it back into our rotation. The quality of ingredients, consistency and technique of the food, the warm style of service and cozy atmosphere are all a hit. Shame on us for need a Michelin star to be reminded of this incredible gem of a restaurant. We will be back soon, and I am positive...
The 5 of us ate on the patio, tried many dishes from the menu and ordered some good Rioja. Chilly? No problem, there is a blanket on your chair's back. Nice touch. The raw tuna is sensational, everything was tasty and delicious. Superb wine list. My only complain is about the single bathroom, too long of a wait, especially when people turn it into a texting room. Put on a sign! :) Great restaurant.
