We traveled 75 miles for a short trip overnight. This was close to the hotel and convenient. We wanted something quick. But let me tell you, the food was out of this world! Amazing! Fresh & hot and very tasty. Prices were very fair and large portions. It was clean and the environment was soothing. We ate in & service was great. They catered to us having a little one with us. No kids menu, but they made him a kids spaghetti and garlic bread. The variety of food options is great. My husbands burger was better than most bigger places we go. We will definitely be back. 5 stars! These “hole in the wall” places are always the best.

My husband had ordered chicken piccata last week and loved it. So last night we tried the chicken milanese and were very disappointed. It contained some slices of chicken in a brown sauce and
had capers in it. There was no arugula and no cherry tomatoes as indicated on the menu.

Tried this food tonight and just wasn’t impressed. My shrimp Linguine was barely edible and so was my husband’s shrimp scampi. The shrimp was so overcooked.

What a fabulous find! Staying in Charleston for the night and was in the mood for Italian and Mario's was close to the hotel and the menu looked great. We decided to eat in the restaurant and not take out and that was a good choice. Now mind you, this is more of a take out restaurant but there is seating for about 35 diners here. I ordered Bolognese pasta and my wife had garlic pasta. The first surprising aspect is the meal was the presentation. Both dinners were served in beautiful white, oversized pasta bowls with a shaved Parmesan topping. You wouldn't expect that in a little neighborhood pizza/pasta joint. As for the meals themselves, simply outstanding! I was floored after my first taste of the Bolognese. The quality and the quantity were far beyond my expectations. The service was excellent as well and the prices were fantastic given the quality of the meals. There were only a few people dining inside but their take out and delivery business looked like it was off the wall! When we're back in town, we will definitely be returning here. Make a point to visit Mario's when you're in the Charleston area. You won't regret it.

The food was absolutely delicious, we enjoyed every bite! It was a great to find that the entire menu was halal, which made it even more enjoyable and inclusive. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the variety of dishes offered something for every taste.
The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. It’s clear they take pride in both the food and the service.
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, so good that I wish I could give it 6 stars!

Always great service, very good Italian food, and very good prices! Ive had the chicken cacciatore, spaghetti and meat balls, shrimp scampi, lasagna, and cheesecake. All of it was phenomenal! My dad, who is hard to impress with meat balls, said they were some of the best he had. Service is always great!

Tastes like good Italian. Some of the cooks are Arabic so I use Google translate to make sure I get what I’m looking for.
