This Italian restaurant is the real deal! Sauce and pasta are made fresh and flavors were rich and delicious. Bolognese was exquisite! Service was great and food came out fast 🔥
THE BEST SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS IVE EVER HAD! I ordered this 30 mins in advance and didint eat it until hour later. It was PIPING HOT STILL, lots of flavor in the marinara sauce and the cashier was nice. A pet peeve of mine is when food is lukewarm keep in mind I ordered this 30 mins before the restaurant closed and it was still fresh and hot. Delicious. Will come back! Thank you!

Shockingly good food. Very tight seating due to the crowd. Loud atmosphere , we were sat next to a bachelorette party. The food and service get 5 Stars.

OMG! Definitely in my top Italian restaurant experiences in my life. It has a great atmosphere, and absolutely fantastic food! A must visit restaurant when in Charleston.
One of those old style, narrow, streetside restaurants. As an Italian, I’d say the food was good but not great. The chicken parm was okay, vodka sauce could be improved. The pizza, though, was great. Crispy with some flop. It is reasonably priced relative to other restaurants in the area which was a good change of pace. Our server, Uen, was a damn nice guy so it almost pains me not to give 5 big booms here. But, this is how I feel and thus what you should like to hear

Quaint little little gem with fantastic food. Authentic to the core for Italian food. Awesome food and service.
Great food and service. Place is fairly small so I recommend making a reservation on wknds.
Corporate event was curated well
Amazing experience! The owner is super nice. Food and environment were excellent. Highly recommend!
Tried to eat here but the man at the door was only willing to seat me at the bar , don’t drink alcohol for more than 40 years or maybe it was the USMC Vietnam shirt not sure but I passed and there were plenty of tables so I went to the Swamp Fox in the hotel down the street they were very accommodating and the food was excellent

Wonderful find in Charleston. My daughter and I were excited to find an Albanian-Italian owned restaurant. We made reservations for a weeknight which was good because the restaurant was already packed. Got drinks at the bar, wonderful cocktails from a friendly bartender.
Between us, we had cacio e pepe pasta, shared a caesar salad (the dressing and the addition of grilled corn was on point), and pasta bolognese. We couldn’t decide which dish was the best because they were all scrumptious.
Since my daughter is moving to Charleston, this will be out go to restaurant for casual and celebratory meals.

I’m in town for a conference and have the use of a service animal that provides mobility support. Marios staff isn’t trained in ADA guidelines, as they failed to ask if it was a service animal, and what he is trained to do (answers I must provide). We were going to get takeout, but Mario’s wouldn’t let me and my living walker (dog) in the restaurant, and offered to serve me on the sidewalk, because they were concerned about dog hair. I declined to be served on the sidewalk and we went elsewhere. If you use a service animal just be aware they will not follow federal law, and while polite, will not allow you and your medical device indoors.
