A solid place to eat lunch. We ordered the gyros. When we’ve traveled to Charleston, this deli is a convenient location to do some shopping and grab a bite. The staff were quick and efficient. We recommend you give it a try. I gave it 3 stars as it is a good place to eat.

A great little hole in the wall. The Cuban was excellent, fresh bread, the pulled pork was very tender and done perfectly. A little spice was added and makes the sandwich.
Clean, quick and hot

Awful service. The attitude of the person behind the desk should have been a warning! But anyway we decided to order sandwiches that had the most bland taste I’ve experienced. First of all, who knew their subs are refrigerated and have to be put in the most gross, dirty, oily, grummy panini maker to warm up! Where is the health department??
I will not recommend eating here.
Service sucks. Food sucks. Place sucks.

Came during breakfast time was hoping for lunch as it was 1030. Once they thought we were leaving the owner was like what do you want and we told her she was accommodating to us as we just wanted to have lunch before our flight. Burger was amazing and husband enjoyed his gyro. Definitely would come back if in town.

Bland sandwiches with no flavor. Meats are warmed in a microwave.Menu online does not reflect current menu. Meal does not come with chips or a pickle . Charged an extra dollar for what I don’t know. All of the drink are different prices, for example Dr.Pepper is a different price from Coke . The lady running the register is not friendly . Honestly I’m mad at myself for getting sucked in what is obviously a tourist trap with low quality food . I had a significantly superior meal with drinks at another deli location for the same amount money . This place obviously stays in business because of its location and tourists who fall victim to its convenience location.
Broken drink machine and pretty awful sandwiches. Not friendly or helpful service.
I was really hungry, and the ladies were so kind ... best chicken salad wrap I've ever had!
My only complaint with this this time is that the sandwiches are much smaller than they used to be but then again I got breakfast instead of lunch not sure if there is a difference in sizes
I had a club sandwich and it was very tasty
Great food

Amazing place, food, service
Market Street Deli is one of my favorite spots in downtown Charleston! The food is always fresh, and the staff is super friendly. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast or lunch, you really can’t go wrong here, especially with their french toast and wraps. Definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in the area!
Decent food, unfriendly service
An embarrassment to the word deli. Sandwich was one thin piece of meat and lots of mustard on white bread that was grilled no taste no atmosphere no customer service.
Menu looked great. Prices were average. Service was quick but the food was far from what was described on the menu. Per the menu, my tuna melt should have had cheese and tomato. It was just toasted bread and tuna. The other sandwich was described as a chicken melt with blue cheese, bacon, mayo and cheddar. It was just bread, chicken and blue cheese. Same for another customer that came on. Tried to order iced tea, but out of ice!
