Right around the corner from my house, always has a ton of tasty food options and solid coffee. Everyone is friendly, and would like to check out their restaurant soon.

Coffee did not taste good. Ordered a cortado and cappuccino and there was absolutely no difference between the two. Try somewhere else for better coffee.

Coffee is really good but a bit smaller than I expected. Latte with cinnamon and caramel syrup🤤 the Saturday breakfast sandwich was yummy! Paid $18-19 which seemed like a lot to me for what I had.

Stoped here for a coffee break! Super cute and the person working the shop at the time was very friendly and conversational! Very boutique and curated selection, think David’s store from Schitt’s Creek <3

I stopped into Petit Merci yesterday morning to see what they had to offer, and I was absolutely delighted. It’s a charming little French-style market in downtown Charleston, beautifully curated with an amazing selection of fresh breads, cheeses, meats, and other gourmet treats. The focaccia was perfectly soft with just the right amount of chew, the baguette had that crisp, golden crust you’d expect from a true French bakery, and the aged salami paired wonderfully with the fresh cheese I picked up. The roasted chicken sandwich was packed with flavor and felt like something straight out of a Parisian café. And the sea salt chocolate chip cookies? Simply divine—chewy, rich, and with the perfect touch of salt to balance the sweetness.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, happy to offer recommendations. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite, a special treat, or ingredients for a beautiful charcuterie board, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be returning for more!

I wandered into this store a few days ago after class and ADORED it. They have the cutest things and delicious bakery goods. I purchased their fresh focaccia and my whole family ate half of the loaf within the hour - it was delicious! The staff is so kind and welcoming, as well! I haven’t tried their ‘cafe’ yet but will definitely try in the near future. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area :)

Beautiful little gem!

Reminiscent of a little market in France Petit Merci is a wonderful little provision shop that opened today.

Located in the Harleston Village neighborhood on the peninsula this much needed shop is and will be quite a gem. The owners plan to open a cafe as well which I was told will open sometime in February 2025.

Refrigerated items include a stellar wine selection, prepared meals, soups, produce, drinks, etc. Fresh bread ~ only a few left by the time I arrived~ baked goods, cookies and fine French chocolates. There is an espresso machine on hand and our favorite coffee brand Second State Coffee is the roaster! A great stop for your favorite espresso drink!
