Pizza a Modo Mio (New York Pizzeria)

Listen a solid 10/10. I asked locals about the best in the city. This restaurant came highly recommended and I now understand why! Food is AMAZING! Customer a service is TOP TIER! Atmosphere is such a vibe. Especially if you grew up In the 2000’s lol. I just moved here and found my new spot! Thank you again and yall better stop through and check them out!

The Hot Roni Pizza had less pepperoni on itthen I expected. And given its price id expected a more standout flavor/amount of toppings. It was okay.

I got a house salad and that too was okay, could have been better. But it was just Okay.

I did not enjoy the way I was greeted or the lack their of, but that too is okay. Maybe they were busy or they were having an off day.

Although I was left unimpressed with my first visit and the food i bought, I will be returning to buy different items, to try and to give my honest, non biased, and non persuaded review.

The main thing that sticks out about this place is how genuinely hard working the owner is. I have to tip my hat to a man who puts in that much work and cares that much.

We tried the four cheese, the Margherita, and a pineapple, sausage, and mushroom pie. The quality of the ingredients is top notch, and the chef puts a lot of passion and creativity into his pies. Among the pizza places in the greater Charleston area, they are at or near the top. I'll be back for more!!

I visited the pizzeria 3/22 and was very disappointed with the service and the pizza. I arrived and ordered to go. Sat and waited until I walked out willing to leave without the pie. My wife stayed a few more minutes and finally received the wrong pizza. They figured things out and she received the correct pizza and it was cold and terrible. I should have asked for a refund. I was excited as the previous reviewer and walked away very disappointed.

Recently came to celebrate my birthday with my former patrol partner. We hit a pizza place each month and Yelp them or Google review. Tonight I had a traditional pepperoni slice and a pepperoni pinwheel.

The slice was delicious. It had minimal flop and very tasty. I’m a transplant from the west coast where there are amazing pizza parlors. This stuff here competes with the best. The slice was actually better than Antonio’s on Dorchester and it beats Brooklyn South. The pinwheel was awesome and quite possibly one of my favorite pizza products. It’s worth the drive from Summerville.

The only negative was it was just too cold in the lobby area, but hey, not worth avoiding, treat it like a movie theater and bring a hoodie if you’re worried. I’m looking forward to their offering of a Detroit soon.

Absolutely delicious cheese pizza (My choice) and meat lovers ( husband's choice). Wasn't crazy about their meatballs. Probably had pork sausage or something else in them that I don't care for, but you might love them. Their marinara is 👍. Great lunch specials.... 2 slices of cheese pizza and a 20 oz drink. $7.99. 2 slices of specialty pizza and drink for $9.99. We will go back!

My anticipation to visit this pizzeria was very high, as were my expectations. The reviews were excellent, and the shout-out in the recent Charleston County newsletter gave me high hopes. With that said, I was 100% disappointed. Walking in, I was not greeted or acknowledged. Went up to the counter and was ignored until I called out for someone to assist. Placed an order for a pepperoni and sausage pizza for dine in. Waited 20 mins, and a young gentleman brought me a pizza in a to-go box. He realized the mistake and apologized and promptly went back for plates. Upon opening the pizza, it was burnt and dry. Seriously overcooked. It's the worst pizza I've had from any location. I could tell it had potential, and I tried my best to enjoy it, but it was AWFUL.

I'm surprised that anyone would allow that quality of product to be given to a customer. The crust was just taco shell crunchy....not NY Style at all.

I wish I had a better experience....I WANTED a better experience...I EXPECTED a better experience.

Train your staff to acknowledge a bad product and know when a redo is needed.

Got a catering order for our college baseball team (25 pies) and everything was perfect. The entire team and coaching staff loved it. Delivery was directly to us at the field, Michael was super responsive and friendly as well. We will definitely look to order again. Making Long Island and NY pizza proud

The absolutely BEST pizza that I've ever tasted in Charleston. You can tell that it's made with very good quality ingredients & it's cooked to perfection! I've never considered a food truck to have at a party, but I would definitely have this one. The truck is spotlessly clean & the 2 guys running it are exceptionally personable & they turn your order around within minutes. I love to see small businesses do well & no doubt this one is killing it!

Really really disappointed in this pizza. I regret wanting to try something new. Went to the grocery store afterwards. Wish we would have just bought a frozen pizza to begin with.
