The service was impeccable and the food delicious. The oysters were so fresh and flavorful. We cannot wait to go back!

Had a wonderful dinner on the 13th at Rappahannock. Food was excellent. We had steamed oysters, grouper (fish of the day), shrimp and grits and carrot cake. Waitress was very good and helped in our decision making. She always had a smile and provided excellent service. Highly recommend this establishment. An early Sunday night dinner was pleasantly quiet. Will dine there again. One of my favorites.

Not memorable even though the reservation noted we were celebrating a birthday. There was not even a mention of a birthday and the restaurant was not crowded.

My wife and I always have a great experience at Rappahannock. That is why we have been, and will continue to be, repeat customers!!

The fresh catch (snapper) was delicious as were the baked oysters! The restaurant is off the beaten path and wasn't crowded at all.

Oyster Bar with consistently elevated food, superb staff and heart. Bravo! As a footnote, if ever there were an exquisite Gumbo it is yours...totally unexpected and seriously outstanding.

Food is on point and portions are appropriate. Entrees are quite expensive but normal for Charleston. We sat outside and that was the only low point-literally. The chairs are too low to the height of the table and are quite uncomfortable. But a very pleasant evening otherwise.

We were a party of four people and had an early reservation because we went to a football game. The restaurant is beautiful and thankfully, there is a lot of parking so it was easy to access the building. Our waiter was really great - very knowledgeable about the oysters, seafood, wines and other cocktails. The food was all delicious and nice sized portions. Two of us had the crab cake entree, which was huge and all crab - no filler. The kale slaw was delicious too. I would definitely recommend!

Delicoous food. However, we felt very rushed. Before we had even finished our appetizers, our main course was served.

Great food and fantastic service! Easy access from bridge and parking lot helps with younger kids.

We had a phenomenal dining experience at Rappahannock! Our server, Joseph was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and accommodating from start to finish. He offered excellent appetizer and entrée suggestions, and every recommendation was spot-on. The crab dip, the flounder, the grits and the crab cakes were all served hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Each dish was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. This meal truly exceeded our expectations, and Joseph's service made it even more memorable. We will absolutely be back!

Really great flounder Milanese as well as fish sandwiches. Loved the salad and homemade chips. Server was very attentive. Will definitely visit again.

It has been a while since I had been to this establishment, and while I remembered it as being good, this time it was excellent - the oysters were a great way to start (both the raw and the grilled were flavorful), as was the Fish Milanese and Seafood Fra Diavolo. The Chef's Special dessert provided a great way to end the meal. Service was friendly and helpful and the ambiance was pleasant and unpretentious. ROB is definitely going back on our "regular" rotation!

Decided this spot was going to be my dinner after a long drive and man it didn’t disappoint. Doesn’t get better with an oyster special going on, a cold beer and a bomb.com clam French onion soup. Bartender was on point and staff was friendly. Highly recommend 👌
