By far my favorite bar. I’ve been going here for years and have never been to a place quite like it. It’s my favorite spot for a night out dancing or just a drink with friends. I have always felt safe here as a queer person and know the staff will always have our backs to ensure our safety and wellbeing. I love the Recovery Room. It has a great atmosphere, and is an extremely clean and good laid back dive bar. The drinks are good and it's always full of plenty of people, inside and in their outdoor seating. You can play pool, foosball, and other stuff. I had the opportunity to take some pictures very early when it wasn't crowded, so here they are.
Brilliant dive with a sense of what it is - the biggest PBR seller in the world, with the most beautiful people you can find. The food is always bangin' and the paper airplane competition features Charleston's classiest bartender. Any night you go, you'll be wooed to drunken-happy tears because they know how to pour a drink. Go, enjoy yourself.
