Great local spot when I lived in Charleston.
Food: Wonderful. Always hit the spot.
Service: Friendly and courteous.
Atomasphere: Lively Mexican place. (My only complaint would be that whatever cleaner they use for the tables is pretty strong and sometimes the restaurant would smell like the cleaner.)

New machine but I was not given a tip option, the waitress never passed me the machine to do it and did it herself. Gave herself a 22% tip during lunch hours and not that I wouldn’t have done the same but that option should always be that of the customer.

Not only has Rio Chico has been solidly consistent with their food, but also the staff has always been on point as well. The menu has all the best classics. Nothing is shy of well done Mexican.
