Wonderful, we loved it! Wish it was in our town. Inventive, great for apps, tandoori chicken or curries.
I have been following them on social media and could not wait to have dinner here. They exceeded my expectations! Food, phenomenal, atmosphere just what I was looking for, service impeccable. I cannot wait to come back.
10/10 experience. Food was out of this world. Service was excellent. Ambiance was perfect.

RIVAYAT CREATIVE INDIAN is an excellent, authentic Indian spot in downtown Charleston, providing one of the best dining experiences. It is a good South Indian restaurant, though it also has more familiar dishes. The atmosphere is warm, elevated, thoughtfully curated, really special, and not too loud. The service is great, first rate, attentive without being overbearing, and just as you’d want.
Every dish has an amazing depth of flavor, is light, fresh, full of flavor, beautifully presented, and layered with taste. Specific dishes praised include the Pani Puri, Gunpowder Dosa, oysters, fish curry, chicken pista korma, chicken travancore, and their lunch bowls. The cocktails are equally impressive. While the price point is noted, the experience is worth it for a special celebration or an exceptional night out. Guests highly recommend it and plan to return regularly.
