Salthouse Catering

We used Salthouse Catering for my Dad's 70th birthday party last week and they were EXCEPTIONAL! Everyone cannot stop raving about the delicious food. Jacqueline was so great to work with! She was very helpful with planning & executing the evening and made the process seamless. Would HIGHLY recommend Salthouse and can't wait to use them again for another event!

Salthouse went above and beyond - Jacqueline and team were awesome to work with during the planning process, answering all of our questions and providing recommendations, the day of crew was so friendly and accommodating, the food presentation was beautiful, and of course the food was so so good! I could not have asked for a better caterer! Highly recommend!!!

Tanya Guerrieri and her phenomenal staff made my Mother’s “Celebration of Life” reception iconic! The attention to detail was impeccable and could never be matched by anyone else. All aspects were covered to perfection!!! The delicious heavy hors d’oeuvres, the desserts, the “Memory Table” as well as all the set up, displays and the loving presentations completely told my Mother’s life story. I wanted to write this review even though I didn’t end up choosing Salthouse. For a future bride looking for a caterer, Jaqueline was absolutely AMAZING to communicate with. She was prompt in emailing me, and we even chatted for over an hour on the phone going over all the details. She was extremely patient with all of my questions and “wants” and drew up 2 separate quotes, 1 for each time I changed my mind. She was never pushy and always professional. And the ONLY reason we didn’t end up going with them was because I went over budget with some other items, and I’m not paying for the wedding myself, so I had to stick to our budget ☺️

To say that Salthouse Catering knocked it out of the park would be an understatement. Our wedding was almost two weeks ago and people are still bringing up how good the food was ?. We chose to do appetizers, 4 stations, late night snacks and full open bar. Every single server, cook, and bartender were super polite and worked their butts off. Oh and Jacqueline made the entire process super easy when picking the menu and she also responded super quickly. 100/10 would recommend to anyone!

Salthouse catered my wedding and went above any beyond. People RAVED about the food and said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding! I am vegetarian and felt like I had so many options. The apps and meals were upscale and delicious. The desserts were AMAZING. The whole experience from the tasting to the day of was amazing. The staff went above and beyond and brought me and my husband our own plates so we wouldn't miss out when we were socializing. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you!

Our company used Salthouse Catering for several events at The Governor Thomas Bennett House and they were all outstanding! Lauren was absolutely wonderful and helped us create a beautiful evening for our group. Planning events from out of town can be challenging, but Lauren’s experience and recommendations made the process easy. She was able to collaborate with me and my colleagues to plan 3 separate events over the course of 2 days and everything was executed perfectly. Wow! Wow! Wow! I can’t get over how amazing Salthouse was for us! Lauren was the absolute best to work with. So timely and kind and made the planning process so easy. The staff could not have been nicer! They took care of everything and allowed this bride to sit back and enjoy herself. Everything went seamlessly. My friends and family could not get over how delicious the food was, and neither could my husband and I. They had so many lovely options to choose from, you can’t go wrong. Everything we ate was absolutely wonderful. The presentation was beautiful. They truly exceeded our expectations. I am so thankful they were recommended to me and I recommend everyone use them! I look forward to dining with them again in the future, and in the meantime I will try my best to recreate their recipes in my kitchen.

I worked with Jacqueline to cater a baby shower for my daughter that was being held in her home. Jacqueline made the process easy and enjoyable. The staff (servers and bartender) was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious! All the guests couldn't stop raving about it! What an amazing experience we had with Salthouse! We used Salthouse to cater our wedding and they exceeded our expeditions by a long shot. Three months later and we still have wedding guests tell us it’s best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We worked with Jacqueline who is the absolute BEST! Not only does she have an amazing team of professionals that she works with, but she went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our day. Without Jacqueline the day would have gone a lot differently! I highly recommend Salthouse to ANYONE looking for a great experience, amazing food, and lots of options.
