This is a Cheesesteak I have been looking for! 100% go get one and bring a friend ‘caus this place has the meat! Some damn good fries too!

Quick, Informative, and most importantly, Delicious. First time in Charleston and I just wanted some late night food. I saw online that South Street was open so I arrived without anything in mind and just blurted out “I’d like a hot dog” like I would in any city at night and the cook quickly and thoughtfully guided me and said “I’ll do it, but you want the cheesesteak”. I laughed and quickly followed his wise advice with light onions and banana peppers as he would normally order and it was fire! 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥

You don’t always get that insight and guidance, especially at night, from establishments, but they made me feel comfortable and made sure I was getting the best they offer.

WOW! as a philly native this cheesesteak is comparable to some of the best cheesesteaks in philly. to start, the owner is an amazing person. he was beyond friendly and you can tell he as a passion for his business. his chef has a talent for making cheesesteaks. the cheesesteak was packed with meat and cheese, as it should be! well worth the money. give this place a shot!

I gave South St. Cheesesteak 10 stars. Best Philly cheese steak sub I’ve had in a long time. We’re from out of town and we met the owner of South street, he treated us like royalty. He and Tim the cook were super friendly and professional. Made our first impression of Charleston the BEST experience ever!!! Thank you sir we appreciate ur kindness, and going above and beyond for us. 10 stars!! You guys rock!!

I've used UberEats to order from this fantastic place 2 times so far, and both times the food arrived HOT and full-on delicious! ?
I accidentally ordered the chicken Philly on my last order, and I'm so happy I made that mistake! I now know that both the beef and chicken are yum, yum, yum!!
Ooh, and the pretzels are otherworldly good! I couldn't believe how they were still amazing after being delivered!
Giving this place 5 yums up! ??
