WOW… love this small cute bakery on a side street of downtown Charleston!!! I did a Google search and found Sugar Bakery had very good reviews.. I had a custom mini wedding cake made for my son’s weddings in Kiawah Island. May have gotten a bit unlucky as I’ve heard great things about this place. Picked up a small cake for my wife’s birthday, and it tasted a little stale.
The prices are pretty steep for their cakes, so it sets a very high bar from a taste perspective that simply wasn’t met. Will definitely try again and hopefully will get a better result.
The location was great, inside was cute, and the young woman that helped me was very kind!
