Great food! Hubby got the catfish basket and I got the Boopa Melt (patty melt). Delicious ?

Great little find near Folly Beach. We had the banana/pecan pancakes, the cinnamon French Toast, and the club sandwich. Everything was tasty and service was delightful, especially Raven.

We waited a while for a table but after that everything excellent from the service to the sausage gravy. I absolutely loved my mammoth piece of catfish perfectly fried and placed on top of my delicious grits. We had an excellent meal experience.

We both had the single egg breakfast - an egg (cooked how you like) with toast (selection of white, sourdough etc) and jams (jellies). We had our eggs fried (over easy?). Coffee was good as well. Service was fast and friendly. The staff were terrific.

Amazing little place!!! Me and my sweetie love finding little places like this that are local to the area and Sweetwater Cafe did not disappoint.I'm not much of a breakfast food person, so it was awesome that they serve the full menu during open hours! We started with the crab cakes, and oh my taste buds! These were some of the best we've had in our adventures!I got the Frisco burger, and could not eat it all! Along with the fried okra I was in flavor heaven!Sweetie got the fried tomato blt with fries, and from the first bite she smiled the rest of the meal!Definitely a place you want to check out in Charleston!! Thank you Cara for taking great care of us!!!

Good food but nothing exceptional... Had breakfast hash and got some bisque Togo. I would eat here again. Restaurant was understaffed, everyone there was awesome but they definitely could have used a couple more people (a hostess and/or a togo person).

We just moved to Charleston, SC and this has quickly become a favorite little cafe/dinner. The food is always excellent and the staff is very friendly.

This place looks like an unassuming little dive, but the food is astounding. The toast, the buscuit, the pancakes, the fries, the eggs! All of it is so good! We paid $35 for enough food for 4 people, easily, but it was so good we ate it all. GREAT service too!

I would give Sweetwater Cafe 10 stars if I could. My omelet could not have been better if I cooked it myself. The fried green tomatoes were off the chain and the fried shrimp. These people know how to cook. The service was excellent! We will be back.??

Best food in Charleston! Best breakfast food!! Love that it’s a local place and the staff was great! I never review places!

I used to love this place because it was a cute hole in the wall with good prices but now it just has a dirty, Waffle House feel to it and expensive, low quality food. Flies, dirty table, ripped chairs, paid $15 for French toast breakfast with only one slice of French toast

We stopped in for breakfast and were blown away by the selection of food and the fantastic quality of service. Our server Leigh was delightful, informative and very hospitable. The atmosphere was cozy and very clean. We highly recommend you stop in and say hello and try some of their delicious down home cuisine.

We asked the locals for a good breakfast place. They recommend the Sweetwater cafe. We went 2 mornings in a row and both days we had excellent service, great food and plenty of it. Good coffee, southern approved sweet tea and refills before you were empty.
