We were happy to be seated fairly quickly and our service was good. My English muffin for my Benedict was burnt, the eggs were cooked hard, not over-easy, and the house-made mornay sauce was odd, rather bitter and sharp. My partner’s order was much better though. It was a cold day and the staff kept propping the door open even though patrons complained. Fine, propping the door is something you do, but use some common sense!
Portions were large, but food was just okay. Every person at our table that got bacon got burnt bacon. To the point most didn't eat it. On sandwiches, burgers, and breakfast plates. Eggs were undercooked. One person got a pancake and it was burnt on one side. There was a lot of food left on plates.
Our server was definitely impaired, spilled things on the table and almost on us. Depth perception was SO far off. That made for some funny moments to talk about later.

Most of the tables were full, but we were able to get a comfortable booth. The diner was cute and appeared to be well-maintained. Our server was friendly, accommodating, and attentive. The food was ready quickly and served hot. My guy loved his Double Deal (pancakes, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs) especially his sausage and pancakes. Based on other reviews, I ordered &Grits.
