Great BBQ and I am from Texas! Service was awesome, quick and the servers checked on us regularly. As an African American, this was one of the Few places in Charleston that made me feel comfortable! We even froze some BBQ and flew with it home to Houston.

Brisket was great, Turkey was fine but it’s not shredded as we thought it was it’s sliced. The brisket did have an unhealthy amount of fat on it we had to trim it ourselves due to it not looking good the way it came, but when we did it ended up fine, definitely loved the white mayo sauce tho, they should bottle that baby, also amazing potato salad

Everything was great! I ordered the big brisket sandwich thing and added their in house pimento cheese (which was great on its own) with the side of Mac and cheese which was also great. My kid had the brisket grilled cheese and it was gone in three blinks she didn't like the beans though and she's a beans girl. My good girl friend tried the ribs and said they were great!

Would not know about the food. Went with a mixed-race friend, and there were several empty tables in the dining room; however, we were told that they expected to get busy, and we would have to sit in the back of the room at the bar. We went to Bessinger's, where we were treated like equals.

Above average pork. Better ribs. Awesome brisket; moist and smokey. Really enjoyed my meal. Would be back more if I did not live 3.5 hours away. Might grab some brisket to go next time I'm in town. The pie looked awesome but I had no room for dessert.

I guess I got a bad plate of “prime” brisket. It was dry and with little to no flavor. I was pretty disappointed. Just look at the photo. If you know anything about smoking brisket, you shouldn’t serve anyone that and call it “prime”. If you want real bbq beef brisket in the Charleston area, go to Lewis Barbecue. Service is excellent and prices reasonable but goodness get a check on that kitchen.

Stopped at Swig & Swine for lunch on the way to Charleston -- good BBQ. Indoor and outdoor seating. Full bar and solid selection of beer.

We usually love swig and swine. Ordered two bbq pork sandwiches and 6 wings. Order came with no bbq sauce at all. $50 worth of bbq with zero sauce. Not happy.
