We visited on a Sunday afternoon, and it wasn't busy in the dining area. There were a lot of people picking up to-go orders and a few eating at the bar. We were told they have live music there on certain days. The food was okay, and the service was great. Our top Jamaican restaurants in Tidewater, VA have better flavors, but this one will pass.

I’m a real foodie & I visit Jamaica a lot, this food was 5 stars I had the curry chicken & oxtails with rice & peas. Service was a 4 star because they forgot 1 of my oxtail orders & I didn’t notice until I got to my hotel.

My wife wanted her oxtails this morning after Church so we decided to try Taste of the Islands. No complaints! Her oxtails were great as were my jerk chicken. The Mac and cheese was BUSSIN! We'd probably be regulars if we lived closer.
