I'm so glad we tried this Jamaican restaurant!!! The food was amazing and the portion size was more than enough. The oxtails were chef's kiss...so flavorful!

10s across the board for Taste of the Islands! As someone originally from South Florida, finding authentic Caribbean food here in West Ashley has been such a treat. Every dish brings back a little taste of home. On top of that, the staff is incredibly welcoming. Sage is the absolute sweetest and always makes us feel right at home.

Amazing place! The curried goat was so flavorful, the sides of rice and peas, fried plantains, and cabbage were all delicious. Oxtails were also full of spices and flavor. Service was excellent and interior was clean and colorful. Very reasonable prices and would definitely come back. Do yourself a favor and try this restaurant.
