What a wonderful experience this was. The food was good, the service was absolutely outstanding. We couldn't have asked for more.

Absolute wonderful experience on Thanksgiving Day. Professionally greeted, seated and presented the (3) dinner course options. The entrees were perfectly prepared, flavored beyond belief and served with a smile and professional demeanor. Personally, I recommend the Wagyu steak.

We were a large group of 9. Jordan our waitress did a wonderful job. She and her assistants were very attentive. She was very personable. Thanksgiving can be hectic. She made us feel like it was a regular dining event. Many thanks to Jordan and her team

Tempest is one of our very favorite restaurants in downtown Charleston! Wonderful atmosphere, excellent food, and stellar service. And an easy location in the midst of the city. A great place to bring visitors.

Excellent service, nice ambiance, very good food. Not a big menu but a good variety w burger, fish, pasta. Accommodated a change in arrival time easily.

It's a lovely historic building. Initially felt noisy from the overhead music. However even as the dining area filled up we were able to have conversations. The waitstaff was pleasant and generally service was very good. However our main waitress did not seem to really know the menu plus she mislead us on the size of the wedge salad. My burger was very good and came with LOTS of fries. 2 people ordered the chicken, one piece was done perfect one was overcooked and dry. 1 ordered the flounder which was good, maybe slightly dry. Dessert(chocolate) was perfect to split.

Our meal was over $300 and I expected higher quality food. The $20 calamari had zero seasoning and was very fishy. We did not eat it. The $50 steak frites was top round, not ribeye. We did ask to be sure so that wasn't an assumption. The NY strip was delicious and cooked perfectly; no complaints there. The service was top notch. Overall it was good, not phenomenal especially for the price.

Beautiful atmosphere food was a mix of exceptionally tasty and overcooked. Because there are so many incredible restaurants in Charleston, I am glad I tried this one, but I will not be going back.

Wonderful experience last night. We had a surprise birthday party for my wife in the event was fantastic. I particularly appreciate the staff at the restaurant playing along to ensure the surprise as well as the continuous attention to being sure that we were having a great time.

What a great meal we had here. Great atmosphere, friendly professional staff especially Bryce and Adam! Highly recommend 👌 I had the chicken which was so good and my husband raved about the flounder. Also the creamy spinach was delicious.

I had not heard anything about this restaurant so did not know what to expect. It was wonderful! The food, the service, the ambiance were all 5 stars. I will be going back and have already recommended this restaurant to a couple at the hotel where we were staying. Loved it!

The food was excellent and our waitress was on top of everything. Appreciated getting a gift of cognac and the story behind it. Really good experience overall.

Angela

Delicious steak and creamed spinach! And the added touch of a complimentary cognac tasting was very nice.

The NY strip was lacking flavor. The bolognese was fine. Overpriced for the quality. Espresso martini was good.
