Tropical Smoothie Cafe

The food is delightful, but the staff got my order wrong and it took around 20 minutes with no one else in the building. Would recommend if people are fine with waiting. Also, the restaurant is very dirty and doesn’t get cleaned often.

I’m only leaving a bad review because the staff is being mistreated here. When visiting, I saw the manager (I think) fuss at employees publicly not only in front of each other but in front of the customers. One of them actually left upset and I’m sure he was embarrassed. I was just shocked because they were providing quickly as possible service during lunch rush hour. I was treated fairly. Not sure if any of them broke rules etc, but people don’t deserve public criticism like that. There’s a time and place for that.

I am a regular here and i just always love love, love! coming here whenever I can! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming! Whenever i place an order it always comes out in no time and it’s always just incredible! Would rate many more stars if possible!✨❤️

First let me say I was a comete jerk I walked in 15 minutes till close everyone was cleaning getting ready for close and every single person greeted me. It almost felt like moes. I even got a what can we get ya! Southern hospitality. I ordered my smoothie it was made quickly and I was out of there. Staff was amazing amazing amazing. Store was clean and the smoothie refreshing. Thanks everyone.

Today I ordered from this Tropical Smoothie location. I ordered for about 13 which I understand is a lot of food and definitely a hassle when you are taking other online orders and in person orders as well. When I got there the girl greeted me by say "Next time you want to place in order this big we suggest that you cater because it clogs up our line". I complete understood how that could by frustrating, but she her tone was very rude and condescending. I was then checking my food and say a frowny face written on my receipt. It was rude and unprofessional. I have worked in the food and service industry for a long time and this is not how you treat people who support your business...

I love the service here, in my opinion between this one and the one in West Ashley I can't decide who is better. The food is always good and hot, the smoothies are always blended well just the right amount of ripe. Plus the staff, I can only assume the managers and key holders, a majority of them women. they're always there. The tall and thin woman that always makes a point to tell me about the deals going on. The pretty woman with the septum ring, she always smiles and it just makes my day to see her. There a few more people I've interacted with here and felt warmth, but its hard to describe them from memory. Either way you can't go wrong with this Tropical Smoothie.
