It's been a while since I've been to Verde in Avondale. But this visit was quite disappointing. First, how the server didn't know the difference between grapes and grape tomatoes? And apparently the other 2 servers standing around didn't either because they didn't bother to correct him. Second, he sure did skimp on the greens. If the price is almost $15 for a salad that bowl should be full. Last, I had to ask for a slice of bread whereas before that was an automatic offering with the salad.Y'all must be under new management. Even the vibe is totally different since the last time I visited. The quality of good eateries is starting to suffer.

This locations always skimps on to go orders. The bowl is never full of salad like if you are in person. For my Togo orders, it’s consistently 1 - 2 inches below the top/lid - very annoying

Love ordering salads from here. I am a regular at this point and the staff from day one is been very sweet and respectful. I place my order online and usually have a window of 30 to 45mins which works perfectly fine for me and even if I have to wait few minutes I can totally understand. Highly recommend this place and shout out to the STAFF for excellent customer service!!

Placed order online for pick-up over an hour in advance, it was not ready at time requested, in fact took them another 20 min after arriving for it to be ready. I asked for a refund, but the two gentlemen workers looked at me like I was cross-eyed. I patiently then continued to wait as the order was over $50. This place was dirty, dishes, salad, bowls etc all over. Cutting boards dirty. The bathrooms were dirty too, no soap for employees to wash hands. I would NOT recommend.

Ordered the Farmers Market Salad with dressing on the side. The greens were supposed to be mesclun,baby spinach and arugula. My salad had no mesclun and the spinach had sand throughout my salad. Yes...grains of sand. My salad also had no everything bagel seasoning, cucumber or fresh Basil and of course the dressing was on the salad,not on the side. So I tried to call the restaurant because I wanted to let them know about the sand so they could correct the problem. I called all the numbers I could find online but I couldn't even leave a message. I finally got through to someone at the to go location in North Charleston. They said they would call that store and let them know.Good luck with that.I've tried at least six times to enjoy my meal at Verde but it seems to always have something amiss.

With 2 groups in front of us, it took over an hour to get 2 salads. To add to that, our salads didn’t have half the ingredients (including the chicken!). If I’m going to pay $15 for a salad I expect more than lettuce, tomato and egg. The added side of eye rolling and grunting really just made my day.The two people working the line were clearly fighting with each other and not communicating. It was just an absolutely terrible experience. We’ve frequented often and I just don’t think we can justify coming back or recommending this place to anyone.

Clean greens. Some other places serve salad with spoiled leaves. I've only gotten fresh greens in my Verde salads.
I prefer the location on king st. The lady dropped the salt lid in my food, and didn’t offer to remake. Unsanitary.

We ordered take-out. Got a kid's bento, Buddha bowl, and an unbeanlievable burger-both wrapped. Very good quality and portions for the price. The staff was also friendly.We live near Shelby, NC. If we had one of these nearby, we'd eat it once a week at least.

Heard about Verde on the radio + lucky for me, work right next to one! So made my way to Verde for a quick late lunch, so many options. My only issue is the first salad I ever tried here... was so good.. so perfect... I haven't tried anything else!Southern Harvest is what makes me a frequent returner! They have seasonal options as well, so I recently swapped the apples for peaches... STILL DELICIOUS! You can get it in bowl or wrap form, just know the wraps are HUGE.
