First time here. It's a bustling restaurant that fills up as soon as they open. Clearly people have gotten the memo this place exists. Not the most organized place, but they have the sweetest staff in the world and I appreciated the tag teaming. Enjoyed the rolls. Best flavored baked potato toppings ever. Ample, but it leaves you wanting more. My steak was prepared to specs, but I did feel like it needed heinz 57 sauce. I enjoyed my dining experience, and I look forward to coming back to try the pork chops. I love that the cash price is made clear with no guesswork.

Our first time visiting was tonight and it was AMAZING! The steak was so tender, juicy and cooked just right. We will be back! 10/10 recommend. ♥️

Building is nondescript, but it is hiding the best steaks I have had since I moved back to S.C.

We first visited Carolina in January of 2025 for a small business dinner. The food was phenomenal - it's not a large menu but what they do serve is all fantastic. Simple salad bar that somehow ends up being top tier. Delicious rolls and great service.

Our last visit, January of 2026, it was a little lacking. Our reservation was for later in the evening, prior year was right at 6, and it took a few minutes for us to be acknowledged and drinks ordered. Food was still great, but one in our party was served a sour filet - it smelled god-awful when cut into. We didn't make a big deal and it was removed from the bill.

If you are going to give Carolina a go, call and make a reservation for 6. You'll get the best service and freshest food around.

They open at 6 pm on the dot & if you have a reservation you are seated first. Our server gave us a great recommendation for the best meal to order & she was right! Or steak was grilled perfectly. The salad bar was fresh & well stocked. Our family definitely plans to go again.

We arrived with friends who made reservations at the same time we did. They were served and ate before we ever got our food. It took 1:15 minutes to finally get food. We keep getting an excuse that it was my wife’s chicken that was taking so long. When our food finally arrived her chicken was like warm and my $30 steak was undercooked. The baked potatoes and salad were very good. After sending steak back to be cooked I just asked for a box and we paid and left. I was very disappointed. I had such high hopes and drove 1:45 minutes from Rock hill to try this place. Thanks but never again.

Best kept secret in Chesterfield County. This place is like that of a magic small town diner you'd only read about in the beginning of a Stephen King novel, and the superfluous steak is a wellspring fountain of youth!
