My husband and I went for their New Year's Eve celebration. Each course came out and the food was cold, the white asparagus soup especially was absolutely the worst. However, I have every intention of returning for regular dinner service to get a better, more fair assessment of the quality of food. The menu looks incredible. Beer? Fabulous. Service? Fabulous. The atmosphere? Lovely. And we had an excellent time. Unfortunately, not all dishes do well when you're trying...
The staff was very nice. There was a very nice atmosphere outside with live music and string lights because they had a Christmas event. The food was just ok in my opinion. The potato pancakes were not very good and overpriced in my opinion at $7 each. There was no food items for kids. Overall, it's a nice place just know what to expect.
I went to the Christmas market, but it’s not an authentic German Christmas market. It’s really just local vendors that come out and sell their product and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s just not what I’ve experienced when I lived in Germany where you can smell the bratwurst cooking outside and the Glüh Wein. Yes, it’s cold but that’s how the Germans do it, so it’s not a German Christmas market by their standards.
