Worst experience...we were the first one in the restaurant Saturday morning and no one came to our table. We told two people, the host and a witness. We waited over 15 min. Another couple came in got help immediately. I asked for the manager, manager came and said she sorry, someone coming out. Our waitress was rude and the food was cold. She never came back and check on us and didn't apologize. It was horrible.

Waitress nice but very slow getting food. Left off a side item and said she’d bring it back to us. Never did. When she finally came back we were finished eating. Asked about side item and said it will be another 15 minutes to get it. Told her no thank you we were all finishing up eating. Asked if she could take the side item off the ticket and she said no it cant be taken off bc meal came w meat and 2 sides! Saw waitress when she took our order, brought our food and when I flagged her down to ask about side item. Never refilled drinks and food was room temperature. Not a good experience

So, against my better judgment, I decided to take the plunge and give curbside pickup at this restaurant a shot. Because, you know, who enjoys tossing money out the window? Well, apparently not me, especially when I could've whipped up something far better at home for a fraction of the cost. But alas, being a perpetually busy single mom with a week from the depths of chaos, I let the little ones have their say, and Cracker Barrel it was.Little did my kids know, this wasn't going to be the usual Cracker Barrel experience of wandering through the wonderland of the country store. Instead, we opted for the "delights" of their takeout menu. We ordered a breakfast, a shrimp dish, and a roast beef dinner. Let me tell you, it felt like those meals were prepared and waiting for us since the dawn of time, or at least since before we placed our order.Living a stone's throw away from the joint, you'd think our food would've still been warm by the time we got home. Oh, how wrong I was. My roast beef, mashed potatoes, and turnip greens turned into some kind of potato soup on the journey. Everything was soggy and tasted like it had taken a dive into a can of spinach. The roast beef? Well, let's just say it was a cut of meat that left us questioning its origins, devoid of any flavor whatsoever. We nuked the whole sorry mess three times over and still couldn't salvage it. It eventually met its rightful place in the trash, a fitting end for such a dismal dish.Trying to reach the restaurant for some explanation turned out to be an exercise in futility. I spent more time on hold than I did trying to salvage that sorry excuse for a meal. My son's build-your-own option was like something out of a plastic food museum. His eggs were flatter than Kansas and his sausages could have doubled as doorstops. The only saving grace? His love affair with syrup-drenched pancakes. As for my daughter, her shrimp were passable, but the fries tasted like they had seen better days - namely, yesterday.Talk about a disappointment. Just a month ago, we were singing Cracker Barrel's praises after a delightful sit-down meal. What happened in the interim, I cannot fathom. But after shelling out $53 for what amounted to little more than a few morsels, it's safe to say I won't be ignoring curbside pickup warnings again.Lesson learned: Sometimes, it's better to heed the advice of others rather than learn the hard way with your wallet and your taste buds.

I placed an order and told that it would be ready at 6:08 pm. I go in at that time and was told that my order was not ready, but it was sitting on the shelf without a ticket, so they did not know it was mine. The delivery person told me my order was next, ok cool. I waited 10 more minutes for them to tell me my order was there the whole time by this time, it was cold. The manager remade my order which was ok. When I got home the food was so bad.

Called my order in and was informed by email that my order would be ready at 6:26pm. I got there, headed to the register to pay, and the guy at the register was having a side convo about his side hustle. I was like sir, are you just going to ignore me and have this side convo? So I finally kindly interrupted and asked for my food, which wasn’t ready. So I asked to pay, which I did. I waited 45 mins past the ETA for a salad. During that time, I witnessed guy at the register do the same thing to others in terms of having them wait u til he finishes these random conversations. Overall the food was ok, but the service sucked big time.

We love going to the restaurant, but their take out leaves a lot to be desired. We have ordered pick up twice, and both times we have been shorted sides that we paid for. This last time, I called, spoke to the manager, was told I would get a credit on my card and never received it. I guess I’ll just chalk it up to a place to never order takeout.

Ordered two hours in advance and still had to wait 30 minutes to get food, with no projections on how long it would take. Food was tasty for the most part, though chicken was dry and sides were not hot. silverware not included without a specific request when ordering.

I was disappointed, for the first time, in the quality of my meal. My eggs were very dry, bacon was burnt and the french toast was tasteless. I have always enjoyed my meals prior to this.

Food was good and hot ..service was not waiter fault...she told us that the kitchen was slow and there were several tickets ahead of us....sounded like and by how food was coming out that the kitchen could only cook one table order at a time ...

Cracker Barrel has a diverse country menu with lots of classics to choose from. Plus it's always fun browsing the store before/after a good meal.

We love the breakfasts. This time, I thought I would try their new chicken tender selection. Although the flavor of the sauce was good, the chicken was anything but tender. Much of it was stringy and inedible. The server was very pleasant and overworked. We will return and stick with breakfast.

Attention allergy parents !!!!I have a peanut sensitive kid and we ordered plain pancakes, ended up with pancakes loaded with nuts turned face down. They cannot be trusted.Service was slow as usual and clueless wait staff. Training manager was a snide jerk too, saying “ oh well they brought you new pancakes what more do you want..? “We will never be back.
