Il Bucato is still closed as of September 5, 2025. Not sure if this permanent, but sure seems so. No one answers the telephone and the online order form says that the location is not accepting orders. It also states that they will be reopening on August 2. Very disappointed since I thought they had the best pizza in Columbia.
I've eaten lots of pizza all across the U.S. including some major cities known as foodie destinations. Who knew we would find an absolute gem in the middle of South Carolina? Il Bucato's crust is absolutely amazing. You can tell the folks at Il Bucato put some love into their crust. In addition, there is some serious culinary creatively in several of their pies. With that said, the quality of their toppings has to be mentioned. You can tell the meatballs are homemade...
Absolutely incredible pizza! Such an amazing husband and wife duo. If you’re ordering on a Friday night youll probably be waiting a bit longer than expected, but absolutely worth it. 10/10 pizza and vibes
