This is my boyfriend and I’s favorite restaurant in Columbia. It’s our usual go-to Friday night dinner spot. We always make a reservation, but walk-ins are welcomed as well. I visited Columbia, SC this past weekend with my sister, and by far, Kao Thai Cuisine had the best food and drinks! We ordered roti and curry, crispy brussel sprouts, pad thai, and drunken noodles. Our server, Jay, was friendly, attentive, and he was also knowledgeable and conscientious of my dietary restriction (vegetarian). He provided peace of mind by confirming each dish was vegetarian when he brought them over. The menu was well labeled for vegetarian/vegan and gluten free....
