KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot

While on a work trip, I decided to go to Kpot. It is my second time coming to the same location. Arrived during dinner time on a Monday wasn’t too busy. Greeted upon entry and was seated right away. My server was Brooklyn. Her hospitality, her kindness, her caring was above and beyond, and it made the whole experience which was already very good that much better. Overall, everything was fantastic speed of service hospitality, cleanliness of the restaurant.

First time here and will definitely be back thanks to our server

I eat here wayyyy too much, but its just so good every time that I cant stop hahah~ The service is always amazing and speedy (shout out to my most recent server, Brooklyn, she was so nice and patient with my party!) They have such a good variety of different things you can put in your hot pot or on the grill, very yummy, will always come back 😋

Our first visit here was absolutely amazing.. the second visit, not so much. We were seated promptly but the downfall started with our waiter. We are huge seafood lovers so we came for crab legs mainly. We were advised that they “just ran out” for the night.. cool no problem. We proceed to order and our food comes out. As we are cooking our meals I happened to notice many people who came in after us were ordering and getting crab legs. I asked the lady handing out the food if they happened to run out of crab legs tonight. She looked very confused and stated “not that I know of, I just served some, but your waiter would know.” We proceeded to order some on the Ipad and we waited 20+ minutes before they came out while everyone around us continued to get their dishes. It was very inconvenient because why lie to us??We are customers spending hard earned money like everyone else. When our one cluster of crab did come out the waiter seemed to have an attitude and before all of our food even came out our waiter slid the tab on the table saying “see if everything looks right”. We haven’t even gotten a chance to enjoy our food and here he is with a bill. Not to mention; he rarely sprayed our grills so all of our food kept sticking. Some of the veggies didn’t seem fresh.. we spent $100+ (including one alcoholic beverage a piece) for two of us and the quality was lackluster. Not to mention we both had terrible stomach pain following the meals into the morning. I don’t think I would patronize this location again.

Keyontaye did an amazing job with serving us!! The food was extravagant!

Came on a Thursday 20% military discount only applies to the service member food no drinks so if you bring your family it’s not worth it

While this was my first time at a Hotpot, and was my friends first time at both a Hotpot and Kbbq. Herlan was so patient, fun and overall amazing as our waiter. We asked so many questions and he showed us how to cook the food along with explaining the flavors of the soup bases and cooking time of the meats. His energy was amazing and helped me feel at ease for asking so many questions and that helped calm my anxiety with being in a new place and having no idea what to do. The food was amazing, service was amazing as well. Whenever I am back in town.. I am sure I will be back.

The price was amazing also! Before Korean bbq started coming over to SC, in GA the prices were high since it was a new trend in the southern area. 20.99 for all you can eat? Say less. People seem scared of the “you have to eat the left over meat or you’re charged” simply order what you can eat, you can always order more through the waiter or iPad so you are reducing the amount of food waste which is a major problem in our country - saves money, and helps the environment.

Whoever the manager is, please give Harlan props for the amazing experience he gave us at this dinner. While he was tending to us, we were also able to make jokes and have actual conversations where we all could connect on a human level rather than a robotic level like in other restaurants.

My wife and I are visiting from Texas and decided we would stop here for dinner. There was no wait and we were seated immediately. Brandon our waiter introduced himself and helped us through how to order, cook the meat, directed us to where the sauce bar was and gave us the best recommendations. We highly recommend coming here and if you get a waiter named Brandon he will give you the best service you’ll ever get!!!!

Such a fun date night. And the food is exceptional!! So many veggie options. I was able to choose all the mushrooms (6 varieties) and loads of vegetables. My husband did all kinds of meats including pork belly, hanger steak, sirloin, salmon, jumbo shrimp, and so much more. They had different kinds of kimchi and all kinds of sauces. Loved I could choose my own noodles and my husband could choose his. You can even choose different broths (we both went for the spicy one).
And a great drink menu from saki, soju, beers, wines, and more.
Our waiter Kevin was awesome helping us figure out everything and making lots of suggestions.
Can’t wait to go back with friends!!

Vegetarian options: Veggies are clearly marked. Even have veggie broths. Variety of noodles and rice. Very easy for vegetarians and vegans.
