Great breakfast and brunch/lunch spot. You'll be disappointed with dinner there, though, because they're not open for dinner. It gives them extra time to prep for breakfast which they do very well. Servers and other staff are wonderful. Get there before 9am and you'll probably be seated immediately. After 9am on the weekends, you might wait a little, but it's never very long.

Great food, nice background music, quiet place, but seriously short staffed on the day I went and it just got busier with time

Food is pretty standard... mimosa flights are especially good... place did smell like gas but it was less strong the longer we stayed.

We love this place and enjoy coming here for brunch when we have time on a weekday. Unfortunately, recently, the quality of the food and service for take-out has fallen off.
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT order food to-go, especially on the weekend. The last few times, the food wasn't ready until nearly an hour past the expected time. The food was rushed, after they realized they were behind on orders, by being incorrectly prepared or poorly cooked. The potatoes were undercooked, the bacon and muffins burnt, and the eggs not prepared as ordered. We have also noticed they consistently forget items like sides of fruit.
I suppose it is best to only come here when they aren't too busy to ensure the staff isn't overwhelmed by having to actually serve a popular establishment that people want to eat at.
For reference:
Online ordering stated food would be ready at 12:16 pm.
Text message, stating food was ready, received at 12:43 pm. Hostess said it would be another 5 mins when I went in to pick up the food.
Food actually received (poorly and incorrectly prepared) at 1:02 pm.
Won't make that mistake again.

I am a regular customer here, but today I am just blown away that there is no coffee at 8:30 am when there is a grocery store literally next door and a Sam's just blocks away. I understand that there can be truck delays but there are solutions...literally next door. I even feel sorry for the wait staff that have to explain no coffee to all the people that just woke up.

Restaurantji Recommends
Went in to this breakfast spot around 11:40 on a Friday and waited to be seated. It took about 10 minutes to be acknowledged, and we were told there would be a 10-15 minute wait, despite the restaurant being only a third full. Despite our reservations at being told this, we decided to wait.
Our server was very nice, but I'm afraid that's the only positive thing I can say. The menu I had had a lot of the text rubbed and scratched away, so I couldn't quite read everything. My 'skillet' which touted 'peasant potatoes and crispy bacon' came out in a ceramic crockery type dish (was I wrong to expect like a cast iron skillet?), swimming in water. Yes, I ordered my eggs poached but a proper breakfast joint should know to drain them before plating, yes? The potatoes were bland and textureless, and the crispy bacon was instead tough and gummy. The whole dish was waterlogged and soggy, making it really unappetizing. My eggs were cooked alright, maybe a little hard for poached but at least they weren't undercooked. The lack of any crisp or crunchy textures really let me down, because I thought that's what I'd be getting. My husband's meal was equally disappointing- cheap corned beef hash out of a can, oversalted eggs, that kind of thing.
I wanted to like this place but it's just not good quality. From what I overheard my server saying to other tables, they probably got a lot of complaints and were not unused to it.

My sister and I have gone a few times and have been served by carsyn both times. She has been the loveliest server we’ve had. Very attentive and such a bubbly personality!! The food was great! Thank you carsyn for making it such a good experience!!

From the time I've been seated to the time, the waitress came to the table with about 25 minutes. Then when we got our food I had to wait and ask for silverware. Not a good experience for my first time.

I first had Le Peep a few weeks ago and dined in. I ordered a mega bowl which was delicious.
This past Monday (7/14/25), I did an online order for a mega bowl because of how good it was in the past. I picked up my order and got to work just to find out the order was completely wrong. Instead of the mega bowl, I received some type of vegetarian omelette. Because I had several meetings to attend at work, I just took it as a loss because I knew I would not have time to go back to the restaurant.
Yesterday (7/16/25), I placed another online order because I really wanted that mega bowl. The order and payment went through. When I got to the restaurant, I noticed the lights were off and when I walked to the door, there was a sign on it stating that the restaurant was closed for maintenance and would reopen on 7/1725.
I was very upset, more so for the inconvenience. If the store was closed, why would the system allow my order to go through AND take my payment? I sent an email to the address on my receipt around 7:30 a.m. (the same day) to request a refund, but never received a response.
Due to no response, I went to the restaurant today (7/17/25) to see if I can get a refund or if they could simply make the order; I would have been fine with either one. I was told by the gentleman working that the manager would not be in until tomorrow (7/18/25) and that he was not authorized to process refunds. He added that regarding the food, I would have to replace AND pay for the order so it could be in the system. Then said I would have to come back tomorrow to get both refunds. I calmly said ok, but I was outraged due to yet another inconvenience. Not only that, I’ve never known a restaurant to be open without a store manager or shift leader being present.
I’m truly disappointed. Once I get my refund (if I even get it), I don’t foresee myself ever returning, which is quite unfortunate.

I bring my kid here for breakfast on some weekends, and the food and service never disappoint. We used to frequent the Gervais st location but since that closed this has been an excellent pivot.
