Was in Elgin visiting my son and his family. We went down to Soda City and stumbled across the food truck. Couldn't get enough of these. My recommendation is this: If you are a Weight Watcher, STAY AWAY! Once you get started, you can't stop. We bought a dozen, all of them different. Wonderful texture, taste . . . Placed an order over the phone and the employee was very kind and helpful. Definitely will be returning! My hands were full and she even helped me out to my car.
The philly was better than expected and my daughter loved the fried oreos.

The Donut Guy Sandhill offers a clean, nicely decorated atmosphere with friendly employees. The donuts are beautiful, like a work of art, with very unique selections and different weekly flavors. The Philly cheesesteak is frequently praised as "BOMB," with great flavor, perfectly seasoned and tender meat on fresh, soft bread. The Cheesesteak Fries are also phenomenal, considered the best loaded fries in Columbia, though a little greasy. While the food is a highlight, the lemonade is disappointing with a simple, artificial, or syrup taste. It is a great experience that keeps customers coming back.
