last time i ordered here my order was messed up, and i was told that they could remake my order next time i wanted mccalisters. it has been a long time since i desired mccalisters probably close to a year, but i decided hey ive had a long day let me get a sandwich. i called in and the manager was instructed to offer me 30% off? not her fault particularly, but will not return to this location. ridiculous enough to mess up a sandwich with like 4-5 ingredients, but a slap in the face to be offered a percentage off after a previous failure on the behalf of the business with a promise to make it right at the future date. Service is very hit or miss, usually not the greatest, cooks don't know how to make a decent sandwich half the time (mine is always missing the avocado, the greens are rotten, bread is stale, etc), and the bathrooms aren't clean usually. Not impressed with this location. Very high turnover rate as well. They will remake my sandwich if I need or add what they forgot, so that's one good thing at least.

I watched as people came through the back door and then I saw them go straight to making food. I never once saw the front counter people wash their hands. Someone came from the bathroom and went straight to touching everything. The floors were sticky and they need to clean the booths better. I couldn't eat after knowing no one washes their hands. The only good thing was the decent customer service from the front counter, with their unwashed hands. I'm just passing through Columbia but I wouldn't recommend due to concerns of cleanliness and I had to get something from somewhere else. Personal hygiene is important in the food business.

It is always a hit or miss at this location with my husband and I. One thing is for certain do not go in at night. They have a crew that is ran by children it seems. The girls do not pay attention. The smell from the back of the store is unprofessional and illegal. It should not take that long for us to get our food. During the day is much better but it depends as well. Sometimes you can hear the staff talking about one another and if you complain about your food or your order they talk about you and you're the customer. We prefer the one in Lexington. I see why we stopped coming to this one so much.

Ate here twice while I was in Columbia for training and it was amazing. Great food fast great service
I have been coming to this McCallister for 18 years and the service has declined within the last year. When you are called to counter for service and then he disregards you and helps the person that walks up and doesn’t feel anyway about it. I have noticed the African American are not regarded as the Caucasians in Irmo but I have never felt the way about McCalliaster within last year.

The power went out in many homes during hurricane Helene, so there were tons of customers. The employees worked hard to make sure everyone received their orders in a timely manner. They were polite and helpful.

We eat at McCalister's all the time. We hit locations all over the state of South Carolina. I ordered on the app in between soccer games. Arrived 20 minutes later to pick up our food, said it would be at least another 45 minutes. Literally no one in line. I said no problem can you cancel my order. They said they didn't have time and could do nothing for me. Called corporate, still no response. Extremely frustrating. On top of all this the other manager was in the back yelling to the girls in the front that she couldn't do anything. I felt bad for the young lady upfront.
