We were here for my birthday on April 3. Frankie was our cook and he was phenomenal! I ran out of tea and he went and had a waiter get me a refill. He was very personal in conversation. He made sure we were satisfied and had a great experience. We’ve been here many times but Frankie is the best we have ever had!

The food tasted amazing, the portions were extremely generous, and the waitstaff and chef were very friendly. Only downside was even when we made reservations we had to wait 45 minutes before we were seated. Not the best service from the hostess. They were rude every time I asked for an update on my reservation. They were quite young and could benefit from some manners.
Had a reservation, told we were next , took 2 groups before us, had to raise hell and voice to finally get our table. Was told manager was doing seating, but he was in back. Food was very salty. Waitress would disappear and not keep glasses filled, had to ask for everything for to go. Never got to go tea from her, so I got my own. Other than all that , it was ok.

I originally had a great night with family and friends, we had fun and went home full and happy (this was on Monday night) now it is Wednesday night and all day I have been throwing up all having diarrhea. Turns out all 3 of us got food poisoning, same reactions(uncontrollable throwing up and diarrhea). Now originally I had no intention of writing a review at all, I just wanted to inform the restaurant of the bad rice they served up (rice was the only thing we had in common). I called the restaurant as they opened and informed the employee, she asked for our order, Name and my phone number saying she would call me back within the hour. But I was quite sick so I fell asleep and 3 hours later no call. I tried to call the restaurant back but they blocked my number and now I feel I have no choice but to poorly rate myabis service, food, and responsibility.
Don’t bother making a reservation, you will still wait for THIRTY MINUTES OR MORE.While the food is good (not great), the service is subpar at best. The wait staff isn’t the least bit friendly or hospitable and as soon—I mean AS SOON—as the chef plates your food (which takes longer than any other hibachi place I’ve ever been), the waiter will be out with boxes to RUSH you and your family out of the building.Do better, Miyabi.
