I know this may sound weird but I do not eat sweets. I stopped by so I can pick up a cake for my son's birthday since he was working. The service was emaculant. I was helped by khalia (probably spelling her name wrong). She was so patient and helpful because I was indecisive. My youngest son who was with me was shocked she managed to get me to try some cake. The cake was delicious and although I am not a sweet eater, they have definitely earned my business for my kids and maybe the delicious lemon cake for me every once in a while. Highly recommend 10/10

Employee (slim Caucasian male, young with short hair) was not at all friendly. Barely greeted me when I entered. No smile or warm welcome. Handed me my order and instead of him saying thank you, I said thank you to him to which he responded hmm mm. I don’t expect much, but a hello, warm smile and have a nice day should be the minimum.

The biscoff bundlet that was recommended by Khaliah was amazing. Great service and cake
I stopped though to pick up individual bundt cakes to celebrate my son's birthday. Kim was extremely helpful & knowledgeable about the new flavors (Biscoff & Snickers) & app usage. I'm glad I don't have to commute to the Forest Drive location anymore. This one is dangerously close to home. I've visited this location numerous times since they opened & the staff is always great!

I wish I can choose 0 stars. I purchased 3 Bundt cakes. Mind you they are like $6 a piece. Two of them were supposedly be red velvet cake. I started dipping my spoon in that cake to find sooo many chocolate chips and had to eat around them, that was hard because I still was eating the chocolate chips. I did not enjoy that cake and had to throw them away because my son was eating the other one. He didn’t like the chips as well…I asked for red velvet not chocolate chip red velvet. I called to let them know the experience I had. Not once did I asked for a refund. I just wanted to let them know and give them a heads up on what they were doing wrong. The label on the cakes reads red velvet. I spoke with a girl and she said let her go and get her manager. Tell me why the manager would not get on the phone the poor little girl didn’t know how to handle the situation. She said yes we have some chocolate chips in our red velvet cake. But there’s nothing I can do about it. I said I’m not looking for a refund I’m telling you guys that you need to label your cakes as red velvet with chocolate chips. That’s false advertising to be having people think they are getting plain red velvet cake and they are not. I just hung up the phone at that point because I wasn’t getting no where by talking to her. The customer service is horrible. I will never purchase cake from them ever again. I will eat Food Lion cakes first if I have to …

Ordered a cake delivery for my mom for Mother’s Day, and the cake was left on the porch in the heat without any notification. Because I never received any confirmation that it was delivered, I asked my mom if she received it and she said not yet. She went to check outside and saw the cake on the porch, so it’s unclear how long it was sitting there. I think a common courtesy would be to ring the doorbell or knock to at least let recipients know they’ve received a delivery. Especially for something perishable. Very disappointed as I added a 20% tip on the order and did not receive service worth that.

I absolutely love their cakes. What really made it special was the sweet young lady named Hope. Thank you for your kindness, and helping us get the prefect cakes and candles. Can't wait to see you next week.

Our experiences at the Sandhills location have been mixed. We’ve gotten some good cakes, but we’ve also had three visits where the cakes were very dry and didn’t taste fresh. The customer service is okay, nothing spectacular. The employees are cordial, but not particularly friendly. The store is very clean though!
We’ve had better, consistently good experiences at the Harbison location and would recommend them over the Sandhills location!

Always able to get a good treat at a random time. I came down a star because some of the flavors could be more Forward in taste. That's just my opinion. However, with this particular store, I tend to encounter Robin. She's pleasant and personable. I enjoy our conversations when I'm in store 😊

To the owner Kandi.. I know my situation was NEVER properly handle. Employees should be careful or anyone looking to work here. You allow employees to go at each other throat and allow men do say or do anything to young women and get away with it. But once again like you said to me over the phone everything is gossip right!!

I decided to try this bakery on today. I went inside and I’m looking around the store to see if there’s any post about possible allergens, I didn’t notice anything posted. I was greeted by a lady. She was very polite. I immediately explained this is mine and my daughters first time here. I immediately asked, “Are there any nut products used in your products?!” The lady’s response was no. We don’t use nut products. I proceeded to make a purchase. As, me and my daughter walked to the car my daughter suggested that we check the website as a precaution. We discovered that there are nuts used in the products per the website. I went back into the store to comfort the lady about the misinformation and I showed her what was on the website. She proceeded to tell me that she’s aware that there is almonds in the products. Ma’am almonds are nuts!!! I have a life threatening allergen to tree nuts. It’s important that your support be properly educated on the products that you are selling. It could cost someone their life. I’m very disappointed by the actions of this business and there needs to be better training and signage informing patrons with possible allergens.

Asked employee if products contained any nuts or any traces of nuts and I was told no. I decided to go on google on the website to double check and it said it may contain traces of nuts. I went back inside to show the employee what was shown on the website regarding how it may contain traces of nuts and she mentioned it does contain Almonds…which is a nut. it would be very beneficial if you guys educate employees of these different allergens because it can cost someone their life. If I had not googled it for the extra precaution and ate the cake this would have not been good.
I've been to this location twice so far and each time has been a pleasant experience. The cakes are so moist and I love the cream cheese icing, so delicious.
