Old Chicago Pizza Reviews
We have never been to an Old Chicago till today. We were told all of the beer is hot they have no way to cool it. Then we ordered some salads with our pizza and were told they have no lettuce to make salads. We paid for 2 sodas and left. Whoever is managing this location is doing a terrible job. Do not waste your time going here definitely will be disappointed.
we came in yesterday from out of town. it wasn't busy at all. we were seated and ordered our drink right away. it was probably 15 mins before anyone came back. we were told they were short staffed. my husband ordered the trio I ordered the chicken sandwich. 15 mins he got his salad. 20 mins he got his pizza half way finished I asked about my sandwich that they forgot to make. I said never mind because we had already been there an hour by then. I was offered ice cream instead....read full review

Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom offers a varied menu, with guests experiencing mixed results. While some found the food and service satisfactory, others encountered issues with improperly cooked items and slow service. Despite these challenges, the restaurant appears to maintain a steady customer base, with diners willing to give it another chance. Visitors have noted that the restaurant's toppings can be limited, with some pizzas having very little of the requested toppings. However, the thin crust personal size pizza has received praise for being tasty and cheesy.
The staff is generally friendly, with service often described as good, and the wide beer selection appreciated by many. However, the restaurant's interior sometimes shows signs of wear and tear, with comments about the restroom not always being clean and walls looking worn. Food items like salads, cheeseburgers, and calzones are considered decent, though some desserts may taste stale.
Some customers were disappointed with the deep dish pizza, finding the toppings one-sided and not a true deep dish experience. Others reported issues with online orders, experiencing delays and inconsistent fries. Despite these challenges, the restaurant continues to attract diners, who appreciate the overall experience, though increased competition in the area means it might not always be the first choice.
