Railroad BBQ Reviews
Had the best meal here today! Get the strawb12therry shortcake-it was amazing. We tried the ribs, pulled pork, brisket, greens, Mac n cheese, and cornbread. I personally liked the dark, thick red sauce (Ga Folks it's good!) but they give you three sauces to go with the bbq. Warning- the greens are kinda on the sweet side- they're different. They're not nasty but not your regular greens. Awesome jewel in Columbia!
Nice experience and dining
Absolutely phenomenal 🔥
Most definitely highly recommend!
I will be coming back soon!!!!

Railroad BBQ in Columbia is a must-visit for delicious barbecue. Their ribs are tender, well-seasoned, and melt in your mouth. The John Henry pulled-pork platter is a favorite, and the pulled chicken is also amazing, as well as the brisket, which is lean and tasty. The staff is super friendly and polite, constantly checking on customers to ensure everything is good, even refilling drinks. The atmosphere is filled with historical decor, featuring vintage South Carolina news, creating a unique dining experience. Many customers enjoyed their meals, mentioning that all the food was good, and highlights included the vegan collard greens & kale, sweet cornbread, and the amazing hash. While the prices can be on the costly side, with some meals totaling around $70 for two, the quality and customer service are excellent. The seating area is small, so visitors should be prepared for that. Some improvements could be made, such as ensuring they don't run out of potato salad and being open on Mondays and Tuesdays. Despite this, Railroad BBQ stands out as a top choice for a satisfying BBQ experience in the area, with visitors eager to return for more and support this awesome business.
