Red Bowl Asian Bistro

I waited 10 minutes before someone came to the area I was seated in. The hostess was seating another guest and I asked if someone was going to wait on me. She walked away to get someone. She didn’t know that I was getting up to leave. As I was leaving she and the waitress was laughing about how she forgot that I was back there. I immediately asked for thr manager and he acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about.

The last time we went for lunch our server was great. With the last bite of each course, he brought the next course within seconds. However, I wish the food was as good as his service. It is very generic and bland. I enjoyed the steamed dumplings the most but much of the other food had no Asian flavor and is very Americanized.

I came in for a quick snack before the movies and I ordered clam chowder and now I’m in the hospital. I’ve been throwing up ever since. Not sure what they put in that clam chowder, but it completely disrupted on the whole entire body. I’m so beyond sick.

I visited the restaurant yesterday and the waitress charged me for two bills that were not mine. I had to return to the store to get a refund and was not even offered a free meal or not charged for the meal because of their error. Very incompetent staff. I will never visit this restaurant again.

Once a great place is now LOST. Terrible manager and food has really gone downhill. Was our favorite for a while, but bad all around. Never again

Ordered a spring roll. Received an egg roll, which was tasted sour as if the cabbage was spoiled. Had to throw it away. Took away my appetite for my bento box. The food usually tastes better.

Stopped for lunch this afternoon. I tried the Ma-la Chicken with basil and my spouse had Spicy Thai basil chicken, both were fine. However neither had any Thai basil. The flavors were not bad, but the vibe red bowl gives is more like a Chilis than a hole in the wall family run authentic Asian place. Lunch prices were fine for the portion amount and egg roll on the side. Server was also just fine, so 4 stars for overall fine-ness.

It's almost unheard of to look at a menu and see 7.95 prices so for that I commend Red Bowl. They've managed to survive covid and all the horrible issues with our economy and still going strong.
They have one of the best recipes for general tsos around. Flavors on point. Little kick.
The chicken isn't stringy, dry and overcooked and that's super easy to do with general.
Lo mein is amazing. Beef broccoli etc.
Atmosphere can be a hit or miss just cause I've had a couple waitresses who were a little antisocial. Waitress today was great. The vibe isn't what it used to be but at no fault to Red Bowl.
Sandhills unfortunately has just gone to crap. So many other shops and stores that aren't here anymore.
I'll come here until the doors fall off though. Thank you for being affordable!

Hadn't been here for a while, but enjoyed our visit. Food was good and reasonably priced, service good. It's not particularly unique, but has a lot of options and is fast.

Arrived about 7 pm for appetizers and drinks before a movie nearby. Seated immediately at the bar. Bar tender was very informative in suggesting drinks. Had a great conversation, and I would definitely recommend it.

waiting 30 mins for a rainbow roll and egg drop soup on a doordash when it’s behind the two girls over half the time is absolutely ridiculous.
