I took my wife out for the Riverbank Zoo it was nice, then the Saluda river, it was also nice. But let me tell you, the Black Rooster was awesome, I loved the oysters on the half shell. Got too try the Craft beers on tap ?? yummy ? but the service was out of this !world . We will be back !!!

Why is this place even open? Staff is awful and slow, the food is nasty and the mgmt does not care. Never going back. The McDonald’s cashiers next door are more professional then this joke of an establishment.

I was very impressed with the menu and the staff!!! They specialize in authentic Jamaican cuisine. For an appetizer, I went with the bone in chicken wings with the Jamaican J*** dry rub. I ordered the Jamaican beef patty, a traditional pastry cust filled with well-seasoned ground beef for $10.99. I went with the Jamaican sides of Rice and Peas for an additional $4.00. By the way, the bartender is extremely cute! LOL...Enjoy!!!

The DJ is awful! He wants to be in a club. This is a restaurant. Here now and he talks too much during the songs. The service was excellent.TE is amazing..get in her area if you can.. Food and atmosphere was great.

Visited here to celebrate with a large group of women for our organization's celebration. Unfortunately I do not have a picture of my food but imagine a beautiful plate of average sized chicken wings, a total of 6. Now imagine a regular order or beautifully cooked fries, not burnt, not soggy in grease, not over salted....cooked at the right temperate and served fresh. Now....add lemon pepper wings and garlic parm to your crispy wings. Now this combination of flavors was just slightly too salty for my likening, but that wS probably my fault for experimenting while being greedy, Lolol! Despite a jam packed Saturday night...our server..who wore a cute 90's Baby, peache colored dress, was very attentive and organized during this mad house. From what I'm told, the venue double, maybe even tripled book, which explained the massive crowd. The music was nice! Shout outs to the DJ! I believe on her shirt it says DJ Kelly Kel. She played house music all night and it got the people going. The parking is my only reason for not giving this a 5 star review. When I arrived, I had to park down the side street in the back around the corner and it was pretty dark back there. Gave me the creeps. But I left the venu with other females so I would have to walk to my car alone. This alley way can use more lighting. Or a security guard. But overall...great experience! I will revisit!
