This place is not what it once was. They offer all you can eat not and the food is subpar at best. I ordered the spring roll appetizer and when they came to out they were partially frozen. The sushi is dry and bland. Skip this place

Ordered the thai spring rolls, ocean roll, tuna & avocado roll, and a spicy salmon roll through GrubHub. Had the order within an hour and everything was delicious. I’m looking forward to trying some of their other items in the future! Also, yes all of that was just for me, let me live.

Very pleased with the takeout service. Fast. Efficient. Food was well prepared. They also called me on the phone to discuss an issue with the drinks. They remedied it very quickly. Will be back.

Ordered takeout from this place our first week after moving to South Carolina. It was seriously the worst sushi I have ever had. The fish was rubbery, each bite was tough and the rolls were mostly flavorless. The only good thing was the sauce they put on the side. So very disappointed.

Literally the worst sushi I’ve ever had. Threw away most of it. Was supposed to be a date night treat but we were so disappointed :(

Overpriced and the food was terrible. Due to COVID, the dining room was closed, so I placed an order for pickup. I was completely shocked when the guy gave me the total... $98 for four meals! I'm no stranger to splurging on good food, but that isn't at all what this was. You can find better Chinese food at your local hole-in-the-wall joint. The Singapore Mei Fun was inedible, the dumplings were mushy and the dipping sauce was nothing but soy sauce. The egg rolls, General Tso's chicken, and chicken and broccoli were just okay; definitely nothing worth $98. Save your money and go to Sun Ming.

First time eating here, had to do take out because of covid-19. The lunch portion was enough for two days. Hibachi chicken was really good.We also ordered fried dumplings and they burned the crab rangoon be and also forgot the sauce for both but other than that it was good.

There are two options. Order from the menu, or eat all that you want from a restricted menu. We ordered from the menu, and the food was OK, but over-priced. I would not repeat.

Not really sure about how I feel about this place anymore. The food is good albeit pricey and the service was slow to a crawl, to the point of us having to chase after our servers to put in orders. I do have to say the food was actually good. The sashimi was fresh, the noodle dishes were flavorful, and the appetizers are good. Now to the bad, and there were lots. Service was extremely rude and slow. I understand restaurants get busy but why was everyone there so mad about having business? Do they not want a lot of customers? I found that if you have a big group they are more rude to you so we come in separate smaller groups now just to avoid that. Also, the servers only come by every 30-45 minutes and only if you flag them down. Not even exaggerating and we were there for 3 hours to order 3 times for their all you can eat. Now to even more bad. They limit the amount of sashimi you can order now, which is fine. But how are they going to cut the pieces only 1/4 of the size of a normal nigiri piece? This used to be one of my favorite ayce sushi places in sc, but unless they really work on their service and how they prepare their food i won't be back.

Crazy bad service and food quality, servers are inattentive and owner went out for a smoke break when guests were waiting to get seated. No water refills, orders were put in incorrectly. Food sat out for several minutes before having them placed on tables

Our first visit to the Tao Asian Fusion and it will be the last time. When we were greeted, we were told just wait, than he went to the people that entered after us and got them seated first (6-8 people) before us. I thought that was not acceptable and basically rude. Not sure what the motivation was, age or nationality. We ordered a bowl of hot and sour soup and shrimp fried rice. The soup came out just barely warm. We got to 2 bowls and 2 small spoons since we asked this to serve 2. They didn't have a ladle or larger spoon to be able to dish out the soup so we had to individually spoon out about 20 times each to get enough in our bowl to eat. The soup was so spicy hot (too much white pepper) we could hardly eat it at all. The fried rice was good, except we ordered shrimp and we got shrimp and chicken), maybe the chef wanted to surprise us. We asked for more hot tea and the server came back with the same tea bag just with more hot water. (no real taste at all as a result of this) I hope this is not the way you treat customers. On the good side the atmosphere was pretty nice, excellent decorations and lighting. The food some other people received, sushi type, looked excellent and was displayed very good. We won't be back.

Currently, my family and I sat in this restaurant for 1 hour before we were served. Our waitress just decided to leave her shift and go home without telling anyone! We had to say something before anyone noticed. So, this one dude took care of us... all 15 of us!! It took us 3 1/2 hours before we were done! On the plus side... the food was delicious.

Tao is great of you like to eat copious amounts of food and have some good drinks. Which I love to do both. Fish is always fresh. The restaurant is always clean. The service is okay but everything else they offer makes up for it.
