Shokudo Ramen and The Juicy Crab

When they said your choice of 2 seafood items comes with a potato & corn on the cob, they weren't lying. However, the potato was one small red potato & a 1/3 of the cob of corn. I ordered one cluster of crab legs thinking it came with a couple potatoes & at least 2 of those corncobs. So, the assumption is my fault but it made me chuckle honestly. My review isn't of this specific location, because the service staff was amazing, but it was the portion that I was shocked by.

Shantay was wonderful! The food was great!

First, they claimed I’d get an extra half-pound of shrimp for free as part of a special promotion—turns out, that was a lie. Then, they overcharged me on my tip. I wouldn’t be as upset if they’d actually given me the correct amount of extra shrimp, but overcharging on a tip feels extremely suspicious.

To top it off, they initially added an extra fee for the shrimp, only to remove it at checkout. The whole process just screams shady business practices.

No flavor plain! Then no seasoning on table fish breading was plain no flavor that Texas Pete wasn’t even hot ! Wings warm but fried hard as shit ! Rice clunky ! Nasty ass food

Everytime I place a order on door dash something is missing... This place is to high to be constantly forgetting something!!!! One time I orders a combo and my carb legs was missing... Next time I had no Sausage… today my rice is missing... WHAT IS THE ISSUE !

It was a hot mess in there. Do not order fresh oysters. They were off, ate two, and regret it. Maybe were previously frozen idk. Manager took our order and never came back.

The only reason juicy crab got 4 stars is the bathroom needed to be cleaned for a Monday evening with only 9 guests in the entire restaurant there was no reason for the ladies restroom to be dirty. I’m not sure if this establishment offer refills on soft drinks & sweet tea however we never was offered a refill on our beverages. If we had to pay for a refill on our drinks it wouldn’t have been okay. But that option wasn’t offered. The waitress was very polite. Other than that the food was awesome.

Very salty

This is the WORSE seafood spot I’ve ever visited!!
Keep in mind I get a seafood boil every Sunday from all over since I live (otr) and I’ve never had words like the ones I’m about to say !!!

First of All how dare you write to a customer that they don’t need utensils or etc.
Am I not eating saucy seafood ? So I don’t need napkins ? Am I not eating seafood ? Do I not need gloves ? I think that is ridiculous!!!! As a food business you guys should be ashamed of yourself !!
Now moving on to the food !!!
I paid for lemons which I did not receive!
Why were my potatoes hard , not done and tasteless !!!
I don’t understand how you give someone food that’s not cooked all the way !!!

The sauce ?!?? Why do I only taste butter ! Nothing else !!! No old bay ! No lemon pepper !! No salt just red butter !!!

If I could give you guys a 0 I would !!!

Maybe because I ordered online you gave me less of what I paid for!!!

Food sucked, I think I talked to my waitress 2 times. She would disappear. I still gave her a 25 dollar tip even tho she didn't do crab, had to ask other employees for refills an they would make up excuses where she was at.

This was our first time, first bite revealed alot flavors, food was well seasoned and delicious. Our server my my just went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. She took excellent care of our toddler who was sleepy and very grumpy. Our server owned the moment and treated us all like super stars as we celebrated my Fiancees birthday today. We will return. We were all impressed.
