They never disappoint when it comes to food quality, but the service and aesthetics could use a little improvement.

Just be careful of the food delivery robots 🤣 they almost ran over my 8 year old who then thought Karate was her mode of self defense

Went there for a French dip because I heard they were really good there. It was pretty good, but kind of small. Too expensive for the size in my opinion. Not a bad place though. Good potato salad too.
We recently visited The Peanut Man, and overall, the experience was average. The food was decent—satisfactory but not particularly memorable. As first-time visitors, we found the ordering process a bit unclear. Guests are required to place their order at the counter and provide the number of the table where they intend to sit. After ordering, you receive a cup to serve your own drink from the machine.
The service was polite and courteous. Interestingly, the highlight of the visit was the use of robots, Poppy and Bella, which delivered the food to our table. However, the waitress still handed us the food directly, somewhat diminishing the novelty of the robot service.
The ambiance was comfortable, creating a relaxed dining environment. While I wouldn’t go out of my way to return, The Peanut Man is a reasonable option if you’re in the area and looking for a casual dining experience.

Jan 2025. Terri and I stopped for lunch between appointments. Very cozy with the huge fireplace but ultramodern with the robot waiter. I think this would be a good spot to meet when out of town visitors want to have lunch while the pass through Columbia.

The food was excellent, service is fast, and gift shop is nice. The caprese panini and tomato soup were both delicious. Robot servers bring your food to the table. Great spot for lunch!

I got lunch for my family. The staff were all bunched together and not very receptive. I get comadre at work.. but helping the customers really should come first. Didn’t know where to get silverware when the food was delivered, didn’t get a cup for my beverage and asking wasn’t easy. After spending $60 I’d expect slightly better service. Two of the plates had the order reversed. The dollar upcharge for an extra plate to split a sandwich between my 2 children seemed excessive. Not having an option for a free cup of water is silly. Now, let’s get to the food. I got a Reuben and so did my children. Tasted great! The potato salad that came with it was flavored appropriately. But the consistency wasn’t good. Potato’s we’re over cooked so it looked like mashed potato’s. My wife ordered the French dip, she immediately felt sick but that could have been more because it didn’t agree with her (being pregnant). All in all, for the price / service I wouldn’t go back. The building looked neat but that only goes so far.

Oct 2024 - Quaint spot off I26. Reminiscent of a small version of Cracker Barrel with a deli menu.
Robot serving assistants are interesting! Friendly people working\managing the place. Food was very good. Definitely will return to try different menu items.
