A friend of mine was celebrating her birthday and wanted to go to this restaurant. Our party included her and her husband and me and a friend. We each had one entrée and a drink. The bill was $260. Everyone seem to enjoy their small portions and their libations. However, this place is for one visit or rich people or snobs. The restaurant is cramped. They have a piano player if you like that kind of thing. The waiter was fine, but nothing special. They slapped a huge gratuity...
Pretty standard Italian fare, meaning fine food at too high prices justified by a nicer than average interior. Veal wasn't seasoned noticably and pizza was not impressive. I've had significantly better for significantly less money. Service was not notable in any way.

My family and I visited on a Thursday night, which is live music night. It was very busy and we were seated in a smaller room where we couldn't hear the music. It was so busy that our service was lousy. After the food was dropped off the server never came back to see if everything was ok. Our food was lukewarm and it took forever to get it fixed. The moral of the story is don't go on Thursday if you're not going for the music!!
