“This review is my nostalgic memories of 1974, 75, 76, 77. We lived around the bend on King Ave. I taught at the 6th grade center across the street and Ron taught at FMC. We loved our life there and still have dear friends in town though we moved back to Florida in 1995. BEST HOT DOGS IN TOWN!“

“Found this place by accident. We were looking to grab a drink late one and eve r yone was closed or close to it. So, we checked out The Nickel. It is a BAR-BAR. Exactly what a bar should be; jukebox, plastic cups for drinks and EXCELLENT bar food. I ended up getting a second cheesesteak. Solid drinks, friendly staff. Best bar in Florence.“

“Tracy Dillin and Ron Fincher do a great job bartending, taking food orders, and serving. On Friday nights Joe and Johnette are there doing Karoke. They're the best in the area. Everyone is welcome. No matter who you are. If you're looking to have a great time and you are in Darlington or any of the surrounding areas or just passing through this is the place to be. The foods good too.“
