YAAD Kitchen & Grocery is an absolute gem and the best Jamaican and Caribbean cuisine in the area, offering authentic flavor and true West Indian soul. The food is excellent, delicious, fresh, hearty, perfectly seasoned, and made with real love and intention. The quality is amazing and the taste is out of this world. Specific praised dishes include the jerk chicken, oxtails, curry goat, and brown stew, served with rice and peas, plantains, cabbage, and mac n cheese. The plantains are cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is great and gives an authentic vibe, and the place is clean. Portions are generous, providing great value and getting your money's worth. While there was a mention of a mildly annoyed cashier and menu prices possibly not being up to date, the consistent highlight across all reviews is the outstanding, flavorful food prepared by gifted chefs who know exactly what they are doing. It is a 10 out of 10 spot that does not disappoint.
