Nice space on the second floor of a building with a large bar and tables spaced out enough for a fair amount of privacy. Apparently sharing ownership with the Waterfront Restaurant, which is also on the island. Their raw oysters were pretty good and tasted fresh, but I wasn't impressed with anything else. I had a great meal at Waterfront and would go back there instead.Parking: Weird parking lot with concrete barriers in strange places. We went in the offseason so there was plenty of space. During the summertime, I bet the lot fills up especially if the bar on the first floor is open.

Dockside hosted the solo artist Cody Webb on a Saturday night. They did not advertise that you HAD to be over 21 to enter the bar area to watch him perform. The bouncer was polite, but would not allow us to enter under the age of 21. They would not simply draw an X on our hands or give us a colored wristband. They did NOT advertise that this event was for 21+. Their location on Maps even said that the venue was "family friendly". Along with the fact that Cody Webb is a clean artist. Who expected them to turn away underaged people? Not me. I am very disappointed. I have been excited for this concert for a long time- and Dockside ruined it. I understand that underage drinking is an issue, but I also understand how easy it is to draw an X on someone's hand- not hard. Furthermore, not only have I been looking forward to hearing this artist play FOR MONTHS, I drove HOURS for this vacation destination and planned my vacation around this particular weekend because of his performance. I am very upset that I was not informed of the 21+ policy before I went. I didn't even get a chance to try the food. LAME. Do not recommend if you are under 21.

Food poisoning - kids had the corn dogs and were up all night sick. Steer clear.

High Tides is a small, cozy, clean place located on the second floor overlooking the marsh. We showed up with a party of 9 including small kids and the staff happily went out of their way to accommodate us. We were initially skeptical because the prices looked lower than we expected, but the food was INCREDIBLE. Great service, great food at a great price. Highly recommend! PS- the blackened mahi was to die for!

Management didn't seem interested in building business. I was not comfortable here. Rude servers

Early dinner with beautiful views of Big Bay Creek and extensive marshlands. A happy place to be and very good food too!

Do not go here if you have a big party of ppl. We had 9 in our group and the man said it would be about an hr. Ppl kept coming in and he seated them all and kept us waiting. Finally I asked him and he said for us to go somewhere else because they had no room. Very poor service.

first time on Edisto Island, the folks at Presley Marina and the Resturant were so inviting and friendl. made you feel welcome. The food was great especially the grouper parmasan. Will definitely return. Would nightry recommend.

Ordered chicken wings and first order came out uncooked so they remade them and the second order was not much better. Worsted wings I have ever eaten. The bartender also didn't spend much time doing his job was more interested in talking to his friends. The best part of our experience was the bacon and cheese bars were excellent.

Can't recommend a place when you walk in and can't get anyone to even acknowledge you. Waited. Waived tried to talk to someone. It's clear they did not want anyone else coming in. They could have at least told us what the wait was. Won't go back.

This is a small space both inside and out. The staff that we engaged with were friendly. The atmosphere is clean. The food portions were more than bountiful. The ingredients seemed fresh. If you have Old Bay seasoning at hand, you can likely replicate the flavors. On the flip side, they did not accept call ahead seating. No hostess. Certainly not a place to watch a sports game. They are within walking distance for many locals and visitors and are conveniently located to watch the sunset. I would return to the late night bar because it is in walking distance, but not for the food.

This place was nice. It looks like a tiny place, and it is on the inside. But they have a fun covered dock in the back that is all lit up at night. We ate back there and watched boats coming in and out. Food was pretty good. We would go back for sure.

Ahhh.... The food is good but we didn't even get to eat it. We are trying to get seating for outside since we have a dog and the lady who was very rude said we couldn't even walk through with our dog to go sit outside. This is definitely not a good ole Edisto Restaurant to go to of you are looking to bring your dog with you!!!
